A very comfortable stay in a beautifully decorated hotel. Great location in the centre of De Panne right next to the beach. Easy to park on the street outside the hotel and very affordable.

10/10 hotel, amazing location

Loved the room and the hotel in general. There were some works being done but the guy at reception was so nice, we didn’t mind at all. Location is fantastic, couple of steps from the beach. Loved it !

Nothing to do with the hotel but we had to park 15 minutes away to avoid paying too much.

Amazing hotel, expectations exceeded

The Hotel was amazing. It exceeded by far our expectations. The room was very comfortable, spacious and bright with very nice design and attention to details. It has a tiny balcony as well. The location is very good, you can see the sea from the windows and to get to the beach you need about 3 minutes by foot. The hotel is also very easy to find, it's on one of the main streets, literally 1 minute by foot from the tram station. There isn't a restaurant as far as we've seen, but all around there are many many restaurants from which to choose, including a cocktail bar next door.

It seems to be more of a country particularity, but all the restaurants close quite soon, after 22.00 it's extremely difficult to find anything open. In the hotel as well, while there is the possibility to order drinks, that's possible only until 22.00. And as far as I know, it wasn't possible to order room service. But these are very tiny details that really didn't matter in the end.

Great location and view, but poor sound insulation

The hotel is very elegant, both inside and out. I was welcomed by a polite receptionist who answered all my questions. The location is excellent, less than 100 meters from the sea. There are several restaurants and shops nearby, and there's also a vending machine with snacks and drinks in the lobby, which is very convenient. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the sea view was absolutely beautiful. The toiletries in the bathroom had a very pleasant scent.

Unfortunately, noise was noticeable from several directions, footsteps from the room above, sounds from the hallway when other guests were heading to breakfast, and noise from the street, especially trams, which could be heard even with the windows closed. The elevator is quite small, so it might be a bit challenging for someone with larger luggage. In the superior room, a pair of slippers and a bathrobe would have been a nice touch. Having a staff member available at night would also add to the feeling of comfort and security, even one person on duty would make a difference.

Ghost hotel nicely located

The hotel is ideally located, 50m away from the beach. Tram station at 20m and in the street of all the restaurants. Street view is actually sea view for some rooms. The hotel is super chic and modern, very classy!

We went in May and had the feeling of a ghost hotel. No one at the reception, at any time. We always had to press to button to call someone. Absolutely no one present during night (between 2200 to 0800), as mentioned during the check in. Check out is « put your card in the box » Even though the hotel is nicely decorated, the room is very basic, only 1 bottle of water, 2 glasses and 4 pods of coffee. No pen, paper, nor additional pillows (just 2 for a double bed). The mattress is firm +++, quite uncomfortable. The maid cleaned (?) our room, but just replaced the towels and made the bed. The room was still full of sand when we came back. Dogs are allowed to stay in the hotel. In the elevator, it’s mentioned that the dogs can only come in the first breakfast room, while in the folder in the room it stated that dogs are not allowed at breakfast. The room next to us let the dog in their room during breakfast, and the dog barked from 0800 to 0830 (when I called the reception (with our phone after searching the number in the folder cause no phone available in the room) to complain cause we obviously couldn’t sleep anymore)

For a quick stay one or two nights travelling through to the channel crossing, we would book again.

The rooms are modern, appear to be newly renovated or as part of an extension build. The breakfast room allowed us to bring our dogs with us, which was very accommodating - roomy tables, lots of space.

It is always good to have a bar to relax in, unfortunately no bar.

Perfect stay to visit De Panne

Beautiful hotel, perfect location very close to the beach, very large breakfast. Rooms and bathroom were very clean. Also no noise from other rooms/people.

Horrible, left early. Granted this was because I was in the new portion of the hotel. I’m sure the rest is lovely.

It was very family friendly in the common areas

There is a nee portion of the hotel where we were given a room. It felt like a prison and it smelled incredibly strongly of construction. They opened this part of the hotel too soon. The garden view is a gross exaggeration it implies that most of what you see is a garden, but there is a small patch of green and otherwise you just see more buildings.

Nice Hotel near to the seaside

The Hotel is one street away from the beach and from our room we had direct view to the sea. The room was fine in size and equipped with a Nespresso machine where the capsuletes where refilled evry day. We received a small present of belgian choclette. The shopping streets are nearby and two cocktails bars nearby. Some restaurants are on the sea side. The french border is a 5 min ride away.

Like always where is light there is dark, too. There is a tram which s crossing direct in front of the hotel and creates some noise in the evening and in the morning. There is no free parking near to the hotel and due to beach direct parking at the hotel can get very expensive.At least during our stay there was free parking in a central parking lot approx 1 km away

Beautiful hotel in a great location for the beach and tram. Room was a generous size and well decorated. Comfortable bed.

No air con in the room so it was quite warm. There's no carpark, but we parked in a carpark about 5 minutes away which was €7 for 24 hours so can't complain too much.

- ridiculously hot bedrooms, close to 35 degrees - incredibly incompetent staff, hadn’t organised the pub for us to get the keys when we arrived, we then got given keys for someone else’s bedroom (who was in the room), next day no apology, agreed to a late check-out but didn’t apply it to the room keys so we were locked out

Honestly, the best breakfast buffet I have ever had in a hotel. Rooms were comfy and tidy. Check in staff very friendly and helpful. Only minor critique is when others are in the halls you can hear them, but once in their rooms it is ok.
