About this house rental
Our home has two bedrooms on the main floor with queen size beds in each. There is also a smaller bedroom on the mainfloor that has a single bed. There is one bathroom with full shower/tub. The kitchen is furnished with all the pots,pans and dishes you might need. The basement has queen size bed down there too. Washer and dryer are in the basement. Backyard has a fire pit with great view of the bay if you want additional privacy.. The front deck also offers a fantastic view of Lake Superior. The home comes with linens, towels etc. It has satellite tv, wifi and Netflix. Cell phone service is one to two bars. We are about 1 mile from downtown Munising. Firewood is supplied on a limited basis. Lawn chairs are provided. You can see us at Kayakers Cove. We do rent kayaks too. Please note we do allow pets, however we need to talk to you about your pet before we accept your booking. So please let us know you are bringing a pet when you request a reservation. There is no automatic fee on this forum so please note pets are $25 per pet per stay. That will have to be paid upon arrival.

You can't beat the location. We had a wonderful fire in the backyard and really enjoyed that (wood supplied). Home is older, but well kept. The only complaint is the sofas in the living room. They truly need to be replaced. They made it hard to enjoy the living room.Otherwise, a good stay all the way around.

Despite 3 days of cold rainy weather, the location made it possible to get in an 8 mile hike on Grand Island and a kayak paddle on Au Train River. Lake Superior was showing its full storm fury which was great to watch but not to paddle but we knew that was always part of the U.P.Munising offers all the amenities we needed and more. Everything in the house functions as listed, no surprises. Once the bridge is open nearby, access to town is easy by bike.
