Secluded Getaway ! ! - Eagle Creek Cottage - Pet friendly!

I absolutely love staying here. The view is beautiful. The house is always clean, and updated. My host is amazing to top it all off. Its definitely a place to relax and spend quality time with others.

Claudia was an amazing hostess Her place was quaint and offered our family the opportunity to relax in a secluded and quiet area. Allowing us to bring our 3 dogs was a huge plus. We soon learned that she is a big dog lover herself. We were amazed at how well the space was utilized. We had everything and more that we needed for our weekend needs. The kitchen was full equipped, the bedrooms were comfortable, plenty of linen, WiFi worked perfectly. All in all, this was a perfect 10. Would highly recommend without hesitation or reservations to stay at eagle creek cottage. We can’t say enough nice things about Claudia, our hostess. She took hosting and hospitality to an all new level.

First off, I would like to say thank you to Claudia and Mark who were very nice and responsive. Mark came out to remove wasp before we checked in when they noticed it that morning. This place is so beautiful with open field and big trees in the backyard with cute fire pit and chairs. For inside, it was so so clean and looked very adorable with unique art works and nice little decorations throughout the whole house. My favorite was the sun room that we gathered around at night time to chat and relax. Back patio deck was also great that we were chilling at the table looking at a bunch of fire flies at night. I have never seen that many fire flies in my life, it was just so magical and awesome. There is also a grill that you can use on the patio.There is a nice creek and river adjacent to the property which we swam on the first day with our dog. River was not so deep that we were spending time in the water for half a day. Access to river was little dangerous because there is no beach area or sandy access to easily get into the water. Broken concrete slab that might have been a kayak/canoe launch area before, was the only access to water. For the creek side which you can access straight from the back yard, it was easier compared to the river side. However, it was very muddy down by the river that you have to be careful.We appreciated staying in Eagle Creek Cottage and my puppy dog really loved it as well. He was running back and forth on the huge open field for three days! Thank you Claudia! Also, your brownie was awesome:) Hope to come back sooon!
