Die Unterkunft hat meine Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt, sehr empfehlenswert! Grosszügige Räume, bequeme Betten, große Terrasse und Balkon. Gerade vor dem Haus ennet der Strasse eine grosse Wiese mit Bäumen gleich am Strand. Das Meer ist flach, aber man kann Schwimmen. Die Familie war ausserordentlich herzlich unnd hilfsbereit. Ich konnte feines Essen bekommen und einen Kaffee am Morgen.Sooreka und Hansica fuhren mich auf Wunsch, wohin ich wollte,, zum nahen Strand, zum Einkaufen oder zu entfernteren Ausflugszielen. Was ich besonders geschätzt habe: etwas Hindukultur zu erleben und indische Ambiance geniessen zu dürfen - einmalig! Eiin paar Hähne und Hunde tragen zur athentischen Atmosphäre bei und haben mich nicht gestört. Nachts ein ruhiger Ort, da kein Verkehr mehr stattfindet. Herzlichen Dank, ich wäre gerne länger geblieben!

Shared kitchen had good facilities.
Air conditioning didn't work, only blew out hot air. Balconies were shared, which wasn't obvious from the description/pictures. Le Morne itself was not a great location in comparison to other parts of Mauritius. No restaurants or bars in the immediate vicinity and we witnessed a street brawl, including a large bin being thrown, on our last night there.
