About this house rental

!!! First rental season !!!
Built at the same period as the Silvacane abbey, the main building has seen various additions over time which today make it a beautiful Provencal country house on 3 levels.

The good behavior of the property is ensured by a discreet and efficient concierge who resides on the spot and of which you will be the neighbors. He will ensure your welcome, your information and if necessary you can refer to him during your stay.

The part open to vacation rental consists of:
- On the ground floor, 2 large vaulted rooms welcome the kitchen (under repair, it will be ready for rental) and the living room, 1 bedroom with adjoining bathroom;
- On the 1st floor, 1 large bedroom with adjoining bathroom and 2 bedrooms sharing 1 bathroom.

Household linen is provided (sheets, cushion covers, tea towels and table napkins) as well as bath and swimming pool towels.

A large east-facing terrace, under a large covered courtyard equipped with a bar, is the ideal place in summer to have breakfast under the rays of the rising sun. Adjoining a garden furniture in the shade of an imposing hackberry tree, this covered courtyard terrace is also the ideal place for convivial moments at the end of the day around an aperitif or a barbecue.

In the garden, a pool in the Provencal style of 10 mx 4 m with a depth not exceeding 1.60 m allows you to swim as well as play with your family in healthy water that is not aggressive for the skin because it is filtered by a UV system. Its wide beach and the lawn area offer shade and sun to land and let go in front of the Grand Luberon, under the song of the cicadas and the whistling of the wind in the cypresses.
A shaded petanque field and a second lawn area allow young and old to challenge themselves with skill and share moments of bond.
Toys are available for the little ones and bikes for the older ones. If you are a hiker or mountain biker, the surrounding hills will be your favorite terrain and will offer you a breathtaking view on the North side over the Durance valley and the Luberon, South side on the plain going up to the pond. de Berre and the Mediterranean.
A giant labyrinth and games park (Grimmland) is located a few minutes by bike and it will delight the youngest.
A paintball / lazerball about 2 km away will be the ideal activity to strengthen cohesion or settle some differences ...
A tree climbing course in the pine forest of the neighboring village will delight the most daring.

Located at the western entrance of the village, you will be only a few minutes walk from the two convenience stores and a ten-minute walk from the center and the Florans castle where the best evenings of the international piano festival are played.

You can park your vehicles in the large parking lot inside the property.
By taking your car, you will be less than 30 minutes away:
- South Luberon and its beautiful villages and markets;
- From Aix-en Provence, its cathedral, the Rotonde, the Cours Mirabeau, the Cézanne and Vasarely museums;
- From Salon de Provence, the Château de l'Emperi, the mossy fountain, the air school;

    We were an American couple traveling with our 3 adult children and this property was outstanding for our visit to Provence. The house is ancient, with thick stone walls. Modern updates are well executed. -Roof-covered veranda and outside bar, and seating under a gorgeous old tree were lovely to relax. -The pool was a well maintained refresher! -The main floor en-suite bathroom was quite new and very comfortable -The upstairs shower rooms also newly renovated and very well done. -The upstairs WC was simple, but worked well. -Recently updated lighting was planned well and worked well -WiFi worked well. Conveniently located 5 minutes walk to a supermarket, we were able to eat breakfast on site, and the updated appliances in the kitchen provided everything we needed. 15 minutes walk to the center of the town. Quieter than big places, but we found charming shops, Good restaurants at a variety of price points, and a spectacular ice cream/crepe shop. We visited several neighboring areas. Beautiful Aix en Provence about a half hour’s drive. Valensole & lavender fields about an hour. The stunning beach community of Cassis about an hour. Avignon about an hour. Caretaker Noel and his wife live on site. While they spoke very little English, and us very little French, they were outstandingly friendly and helpful. Very kind people. They do quietly enjoy their patio on the side of the house opposite the guest patio; they are present, but were never intrusive.

    Beautiful old house
    Beautiful old house
    We loved the house which stayed cool even in the middle of a heatwave! The pool was clean and beautiful and the shady terrace is a lovely place to sit. The location is excellent, being walkable to a quiet, friendly town with lots of useful facilities, bakery, shops, bar, restaurant, ice cream etc! Our only slight reservation is that the caretakers flat is within the same house and his terrace is beneath one of the bedroom windows, so we had to ask for the music to be turned off after midnight a couple of times. However overall a lovely, relaxed place to stay.

    Provencal bliss!
    Provencal bliss!
    We have just returned from a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday in this lovely property in La Roque-d'Anthéron. The area is a short drive from pretty villages such as Lourmarin, Cadenet and Cucuron, and only slightly further afield are the likes of Salon and Aix - both well worth a visit. The property has a very well equipped kitchen, free WiFi and a modern TV. The rooms are light and airy, and we especially appreciated the built-in fly screens at all the windows, allowing us to sleep with the windows wide open without being bitten alive by those pesky mossies!! The outdoor dining area and terrace are perfect - and ideal for escaping the sun - and the pool is to die for. The property hosts who live next door were very discreet, they were there to welcome us, and were on hand to keep the pool and grounds in immaculate order. If you want a relaxing semi-rural house in Provence for a week or two you should ensure this is on your shortlist; we would definitely return!

    Du cachet, beau terrain et magnifique piscine
    Nous recherchions une maison de vacances avec du cachet, de beaux espaces extérieurs, une piscine sécurisée. Cette belle bastide a répondu à toutes nos attentes. Merci à Denis le propriétaire, Noël le concierge, et Valérie. Notre séjour sur place a été merveilleux.

    Espace piscine très agréable
    Espace piscine très agréable
    Très belle maison provençale et un très bel espace piscine. Le centre du village est facile d’accès à pieds ainsi que les supermarchés. L’accès aux villages du Luberon est très facile également. Petit point à préciser, le gardien habite dans une aile de la maison , il est disponible en cas de besoin mais c’est bien de le savoir !

    Sehr schönes Haus mit exklusiver Ausstattung
    Wir haben in diesem aufwändig restaurierten und exklusiv ausgestatteten Haus ein paar schöne Tage verbracht. Hier fehlt es an Nichts, alles sehr sauber, hochwertige Einrichtung und Ausstattung und viel Platz für die ganze Familie. Auch der Außenbereich mit überdachter Terrasse und gepflegtem Pool lassen keine Wünsche offen.
