Die Unterkunft auf Olib ist perfekt als Pärchen, wenn man Ruhe möchte und für sich sein möchte. Die Gastgeberin Ljubica ist unglaublich freundlich, die gesamte Abwicklung verlief unkompliziert und sie war jederzeit erreichbar, wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, mit viel Augenmerk auf Details. Zum Kochen/Backen ist alles vorhanden, es gibt einen Geschirrspüler und eine Waschmaschine. Gelsenstecker sind auch vor Ort, Klimaanlage funktioniert gut und bei der Eingangstüre gibt es ein Fliegengitter. Handtücher sind ausreichend da, ebenso Wechselbettwäsche. Besonders gefreut hat uns das Starterpaket mit Kaffee und allerlei Leckereien – so fühlt man sich gleich willkommen.
Die Insel selbst ist ein ruhiges Paradies: tagsüber legen zwar im Hafen Ausflugsboote an, doch die Strände sind oft einsam und perfekt zum Entspannen. Das Wasser ist kristallklar, und meist ist der Einstieg ins Wasser sandig. Gleich beim kleinen Hafen gibt es auch an der Promenade die Möglichkeit, schwimmen zu gehen (von der Unterkunft fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar). Olib ist perfekt zum Wandern, es gibt eine Vielzahl an Wegen, die man erkunden kann. Wenn man mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs ist, dann empfehlen sich Mountainbikes, da die Wege meist steinig sind. Ein wunderbarer Ort für alle, die Ruhe und Natur schätzen.
Die Anreise erfolgt per Fähre (mit Auto) oder Katamaran – Fahrzeiten sollte man im Blick haben. Die Insel ist autofrei, aber man kann sein Auto auf der Insel parken. Das Gepäck wird bequem per Golfcart zur Unterkunft gebracht.
Es gibt zwei kleine Supermärkte, die gut sortiert sind und alles bieten, was man braucht (Getränke, frisches Gebäck, Nudeln, Gemüse, Käse, etc., aber kein Frischfleisch), eine Beachbar und ein paar Restaurants – ideal für einen Sundowner.

This was a wonderful stone house set on a totally unspoilt island full of butterflies and birds. Ljubica was so kind and provided so many extras, we didn't want for anything. Beautifully clean. Lovely little outside garden with very comfy seating, and a lovely cool space inside. We loved the island, friendly people, lots of walking on shady tracks down to stunning beaches. It is also possible to take a ferry in the afternoon to nearby islands. Batela bar down at the sea was really good, great owner. Would love to stay here again. Thank you so much Ljubica.

The house is very clean and the owners took care of every detail to make the guests feel welcome. It is a charming little house with more than you'll need. Property is well-located, the store and the beaches are near. The hosts are kind, responsive, helpful and professional. Everything was perfect, both Olib and the house. Count on buying bottled water for drinking. We felt just like home, amazing.
There is nothing negative to say about the property. A guest should only have in mind that Olib is an island of nature, so you have to tolerate a bit more bugs than in the urban environment. However, the wild side of Olib is what makes it so wonderful and relaxing.
