Gardenia Mare Apartments

Fantastisk plats och otroligt hjälpsam värd. Boendet har allt som behövs. Ligger otroligt vackert vid vattnet med fantastiska bad.

This hotel has a great restaurant and beach club adjacent to it. Mauro runs it and was very accommodating. The views of the castle and the rocky coast are hard to beat. The beach club feels like you walked into a Slim Aarons photo. The apartment we stayed in had everything- a small kitchen and living area with a bedroom above it. The patio was secluded but still right next to some of the best views you can get. Mauro easily helped us get a water taxi from the hotel- which is the best way to get in and out. There’s a lot of stairs down to the hotel if you arrive by regular taxi. Mauro also helped us arrange a dinner at the hotel during their Santa Anna fireworks celebration. Such an amazing time

It’s not easy walkable to many other attractions, but the boat taxi makes it doable.

Tutto perfetto. Abbiamo prenotato l’appartamento trilocale in 4 amiche per un addio al nubilato da festeggiare sull’isola e siamo state benissimo. Appartamento appena ristrutturato, perfettamente pulito. Dotato di bagno e cucinotto. Ottimi i condizionatori. Vista mare da entrambe le stanze da letto. Ci hanno offerto quattro lettini Lettini con la prenotazione, sul prato di un giardino privato tra l’appartamento e il lido. Abbastanza vicino da avere un comodissimo accesso al mare e abbastanza lontano per essere riservato e protetto dalla folla del lido e del ristorante (dove peraltro siamo rimaste anche per un pranzo domenica e si mangia benissimo!). Personale professionale e disponibilissimo. Abbiamo concordato un servizio di taxi boat direttamente al porto, accanto all’arrivo degli aliscafi. Abbiamo inoltre concordato una colazione con cornetti ischitani / caffè e succhi.

The property overall is beautiful! A little slice of paradise. Owner Mauro was very helpful and nice. He helped us get a rental car delivered to the property. The beach club looked nice but we never got to use it as they had events and it rained most of the days we were there. We arrived by water taxi so we didn't have to carry our bags down the stairs which was helpful. Having a washer was very nice and helpful since we were traveling for a while.

COMMUNICATION, they had two very loud events one on Saturday and one on Monday. I would have appreciated a prior notice before we arrived, a discount, or an option to cancel our stay. The noise was so loud all day we were not able to enjoy the property or beach club which was very unfortunate. We tried to make the best of our stay as it rained by renting a car and driving around the island. The unit was spacious, however, needs some love/ updating (furniture/ better beds, loose tiles) We were also not able to use the restaurant due to the events so that was a bit of a bummer too as we heard it was very good.
