About this chalet rental
Welcome to your alpine retreat in Sarreyer, a charming village in the beautiful Val de Bagnes. Just a few minutes from Verbier and the 4 Vallées ski area, this chalet — perfect for families or groups of friends — combines alpine authenticity, comfort, and access to mountain activities, summer and winter alike.
Skiing, hiking, trail running, mountain biking, exploring wide-open spaces: here, the mountains are to be fully enjoyed by day… and savored in the evening in a simple and authentic atmosphere.
🏡 The Chalet
- 3 bedrooms (2 single beds on the ground floor, 2 double beds 160 cm on the first floor)
- Living room with mountain views
- Cozy dining room for sharing meals and special moments
- Separate fully equipped kitchen
- 2 bathrooms/WC (one on each floor)
The main heating is wood-fired, with two soapstone stoves providing gentle warmth, complemented by electric heaters for the colder months.
Please note: ceilings are low on the ground floor, particularly in the dining room, typical of traditional Valais chalets.
📍 Access
- A car is highly recommended (10–15 min from Verbier, 25 min from Le Châble via the Route du Soleil): the access road to Sarreyer is a mountain road. It may seem impressive for drivers unaccustomed to mountain roads, but it is safe and well-maintained, with stunning views along the way.
- Public transport: from Le Châble, take the bus and then the cable car to reach the village — convenient for those who prefer not to drive.

Guests are asked to leave the chalet clean at departure or pay a CHF 100 cleaning fee.

We enjoyed our stay in this special place: in a very small and old typical Valais village, we had a fantastic stay. Everything we needed was there: privacy, rest, a good kitchen and enough comfort for our family of 5.

Sarreyer ist ein altes Walliser Dorf, dass sich den dörflichen Charakter behalten hat und nicht unter zersiedelt ist.
Das Chalet ist perfekt eingerichtet, die Küche ist sehr zweckdienlich. Man merkt, dass die Eigentümer das Chalet selber intensiv nutzen: alles ist am richtigen Platz. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr zuvorkommend, proaktiv und in ausgezeichnetem Deutsch.
Wir haben die Zeit für einige anspruchsvolle Wanderungen um den Grand Combin genutzt. Aber auch kürzere und weniger anstrengende Wanderungen in der Höhe sind ab Verbier möglich (gutes Angebot an Bergbahnen auch im Sommer)
Die Unterkunft ist für erholsame und ruhige Wanderferien perfeKR.
