Relaxing quality family time with some lovely walks 👌

This cottage is clean , Cosy with a home from home feel. Very spacious, washing machine meant no dirty washing to take home so always a bonus! Games provided meant lovely quality family time of an evening. Location gave walkable options into the town, the castle , Bossiney cove and coastal paths.

I love how much light the property had but at night felt some curtains on the patio doors would’ve made it that little more cosy. And the hall light is on a sensor so comes on every little movement , I believe it’s a safety feature due to toilet being downstairs but the option to turn off would be great.

It was a lovely stay, only marred by the cleaning not being completed on time. No fault of the owner

The layout and quirky decoration was good. The garden was perfect for the dog. Lots of room. Plenty of books and games. The dog had a fantastic bed. We felt comfortable. A lovely little welcome pack with scones, tea, coffee, milk.

Unfortunately the cleaners had only just arrived at 3pm so we had to wait in the car outside for them to prepare the house, quite frustrating when we had travelled early to miss the traffic. The cleaners in their rush missed quite a bit of dog hair from the previous people, one of the cooking utensils wasn't quite clean and the dishwasher had a string of spaghetti sitting in the rack. Overall the rest of the house was very clean, I think they'd unfortunately rushed the finer details because we were sat waiting. The WiFi kept dropping out , in the space of a couple of minutes it went from 10mbs to 1.5mbs back up to 6mbs etc. It would have been good to have something better than a wire and plastic wrap to hold open the patio door. Some previous people had left loose items in the wheelie bin for collection, a council tag was left on the bin with said items still in, my husband felt he needed to remove these and rebag them. I think more information about bin collection would have helped the previous people.

Bit of noise from rd. Mixing bowls and corkscrew we couldn t find. Maybe some pegs for the airer.

The perfect holiday cottage

It was the best cottage we've ever stayed in. Everything felt and looked brand new. The double-bed was very comfortable and the rooms were very tastefully decorated. Welcome pack of Cornish goodies was a very nice touch. Nice big decking area for outside meals. Excellent comms and directions from owners. Guest book suggested very popular with dog owners but cat-keepers would be just as happy (ie. us!)

Home from home!!

We arrived, unpacked, ASDA made a delivery and we felt immediately at home. Beautifully decorated with attention to detail all on a theme of the seaside. Perfect location for Tintagel, coastal path walking and other amenities.

Light on the bathroom mirror for shaving would be useful but I survived 😊

Fabulous holiday cottage

The cottage was fantastic and suited our family perfectly. On arrival we were met with a lovely warm welcoming home, exceptionally clean and a wonderful basket of goodies for a cream tea. Much appreciated. The beds were really comfy and towels, soap and toilet rolls provided. The kitchen area was extremely well equipped with everything we required and Netflix on the television was an added bonus. We didn’t have the best weather during our stay as it was October so we sadly didn’t make use of the lovely outside decking area. I could imagine this would be lovely in the summer. We will just have to come back! It is an ideal location for walking and exploring the stunning coastline and only a short walk into Tintagel with the must-do bridge at Tintagel Castle. Kevin the host was really helpful and informative too. Overall, a great stay and I can highly recommend the lovely “Bossiney Cove Cottage”.
