Brewster's Favorite Beach, Paine's Creek on Cape Cod Bay, 6/10's of a mile

Our family had a mini-reunion in Brewster and loved every minute of it at Joanne's property. The upstairs suite is especially helpful with the two day beds when you need extra space to tuck away and work or relax outside of the main living room. The youngest ones in our group loved the garage to ride bikes when it was too rainy out to be fully outdoors. The extra beach toys were an added bonus.

Joanne's beautiful home is the perfect place to stay while in the Cape. The location is excellent--a quick and enjoyable walk to Paine's Creek Beach, past a cafe, some little shops, pottery galleries, and The Cape House Ice Cream and Fried Seafood. Everywhere else we wanted to go was within a 15-minute drive--bay side and ocean side beaches. The home itself fits 10 comfortably (the daybeds were perfect twin size beds for our two tall teenagers), the rooms excellent, the house nice and cool and very clean. The bathrooms/showers are great, kitchen and gas stove excellent, porch fantastic for relaxing with friends and family, and the barn/garage is such an excellent space. We played pool every night and had so much fun. Our teenagers loved it! We will be back next year and want to return every year after that! Awesome home and we couldn't have picked a better place!

This was the second year staying here. Our family - grandpa/grandpa down to our new 1 yr. old grandson and dogs - thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area. We loved having a home base to return to and relax in. The home as well equipped and in a very quiet neighborhood. Don’t forget to bring your own linens and towels.

Great location. Surprisingly quiet and private for being off a main road. Very roomy. Nice grill and outdoor shower! Deck was very inviting.I found the amenities lacking for this price range, for example, I had to buy toilet paper, paper towels and tissues. Cleanliness was mediocre, and while the host was willing to send the cleaners back, I wasn’t comfortable with that so I just did it myself.The code on the keyless entry was incorrect so I couldn’t get in when I arrived, supposedly the host messaged me but I never received anything, luckily she was available quickly and I received the code. So overall a little bit of a mixed bag. It is a lovely home and I’m always appreciative when someone allows me the opportunity to stay in their home, that said, the price should have guaranteed a little more ease, and a few more amenities. Sheets and towels are not included, which was not stated in the listing, and hopefully that will be corrected. It is, apparently, in the rental agreement, and since I made the arrangement the summer prior it slipped by me. The host did generously cover the cost of a linen rental, but I have never rented in this price range where they weren’t included so I had to learn the hard way!Perhaps, the next renters will benefit from my feedback.
