Beautiful modern and quiet accommodation near the beach (5min walk). As the owner uses the house himself, all daily necessities are available as well as bicycles and stand-up paddles. Edgars was always available and has provided us with great, relaxing days. Thanks a lot! We will come back :)

Very modern, stylish house with a big garden, barbecue facility (authentic russian schaschliki style) and a sun deck with deck chairs and a cozy terrace with lounge chairs. Two small bedrooms, livingroom with integrated dining table and small kitchen. Rather quiet neighbourhood. 2 stand up paddling boards supplied as well as 4 bikes, two for children, two for adults. Friendly and pleasant host. Only a 3-minute-walk to a nice, clean, children-friendly and quiet beach with lots of space. There are supermarkets, a few restaurants and shops within 5-10 minutes driving distance. The spa and bathing resort of Jurmala is about 20 minutes by car. Lots of hiking possibilites in the surrounding national park with forests, small lakes and swamps, but be aware of mosquitos!

It has to be said that for tall people, the adult bikes are not suitable because the highest possible saddle position is too low. But hey - they were at our disposal for free - no worries!

Schönes modernes Haus in ruhiger Lage. Strand und Naturschutzgebiet in der Nähe. Liebevoll eingerichtet. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut.

Größtes Problem, das auch Grund für die Bewertung ist: Das Leitungswasser roch sehr stark nach Schwefel, so dass sogar das Duschen unangenehm war. Das habe ich so noch nirgendwo erlebt. Einige Dinge waren kaputt, so fehlte in der Schlafzimmertür der Türbeschlag, so dass man die Tür nur heranziehen konnte. Beleuchtung der Dunstabzugshaube über dem Herd war auch defekt. Die Küche ist sehr klein, so dass man das Geschirr nicht zum Trocknen abstellen kann (Geschirrspüler ist nicht vorhanden). WLAN-Verbindung mit sehr geringer Bandbreite.
