Welcome to your classic "Old Tahoe" retreat! This charming, rustic cabin offers a nostalgic mountain experience with all the essentials. The heart of the home is the cozy living area, featuring a grand rock gas fireplace and a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen perfect for family meals.
Sleeping Arrangements:
Main Floor: Large primary bedroom with a Queen bed and attached half-bath.
Upper Floor: A sun-drenched loft with two Twin beds and a second bedroom featuring a Queen bed.
Bonus Room: A dedicated sitting room with a TV—perfect for movie nights or a quiet reading nook.
Outdoor Living: > Enjoy the fresh mountain air in the large, fully-fenced yard and sunny deck. With a long driveway providing ample parking and a pet-friendly policy (up to 2 well-mannered dogs), it’s the perfect spot for the whole family.
The Location: > Nestled in Lake Forest, you are steps away from the local bike path, public beaches, and a boat launch. A short 5-minute drive brings you into the heart of Tahoe City for shopping and dining, while world-class skiing at Palisades Tahoe and Alpine Meadows is just a quick trip away.

For your convenience, this home includes a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and an in-unit washer and dryer. We provide all linens and bath towels; most rentals have beach towels for your trips to the lake. Please note that while Tahoe’s mountain breeze and provided fans keep the home comfortable, there is no central A/C. To protect local wildlife, we do not stock pantry staples. Please also be aware that the deck and BBQ may be unavailable during the late fall, winter and early spring months due to snow.

Great location walking distance to multiple beaches. Safe and quiet neighborhood with great stargazing! Very cozy fireplace and incredible fenced in yard for 2 yr old and puppy to run around.

What an awesome stay in this cabin! Great location! Walking distance to the beach. Short drives to tons of activities (shops, restaurants, water sports). The backyard is soooooooo nice. The cabin itself is super charming, clean, and has plenty of room. Cant wait to go back!

Brought my elderly dog for a long weekend, picked location due to nearby beach and bike trail. It is an older cabin as noted with first floor wall heater and space heaters upstairs. Has necessary kitchenware and appliances. But a few things caught my attention that were so inexpensive to improve guest experience, I bought them myself. You’re welcome. There were 6 hangers total for 6-7 guests!
