About this cottage rental
Tallgums hideaway is a charming cedar cottage close to Broulee Beach and the Tomaga river.
It has 2 double bedrooms (one double and one queen bed) and two lofts with two single beds in each. Lofts are accessed by ladders and are suitable for children over the age of seven or adults without mobility problems.
Pillows and doonas are provided but you need to bring your own sheets, pillowslips, towels (being older owners, we need to be careful of Covid).
The bathroom has a shower, toilet, basin and also laundry sink and a small washing machine.
The kitchen has refrigerator, oven, microwave and a full complement of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment and cooling air conditioning and separate electric heating.
On site parking will accommodate 2 cars.
The cottage is surrounded by a natural garden of spotted gums and cycads.
Walk to the Tomaga river in 5 minutes or to Broulee beach in 15 minutes (5 minutes by car).
Note: the property is available for a minimum of two days.

we enjoyed tallgums and yes the tall gums were beautiful and spectacularly tall- lovely. The space was cute and cozy.All facilities, location etc were really good, Not really able to walk quickly to beach . Very cobwebby dingy feel in back yard. Bits of chipboard from underneath kitchen cupboard fell into toaster. Big backyard suitable for a dog our little dog somehow got from the backyard to front yard where there wasnt a fence but we didnt see how this happened.

Stay was a great success for our family. The children loved the loft rooms. There was a musky smell throughout our stay, but it did leave as we aired the cottage out. Host was incredible with communication and was very considerate of our family.

Very pleasant, reasonably priced stay in a great location. We appreciated the information on local attractions provided and the range of books available. Check-in instructions were easy to follow and the host was responsive and helpful. The only feature we missed was wifi, although this is not essential if you can reliably hotspot from your phone. Otherwise, ideal accommodation for a short holiday!

Good communication.Fairly clean although needed airing as was stuffy and smelly when we opened up. The listing stated there was a double and a queen, but there were 2 queens so the double fitted sheet that we brought didn’t fit.Kitchen was well stocked and had some condiment items & paper towel etc.Big backyard that you can drive in and hold extra cars or tinny.
