• Lake Kournas–10 minute inland drive - Crete’s only freshwater lake –picturesque – aquamarine clear waters – marine turtles - fabulous food in lakeside tavernas.
• Rethymnon–15 minute coastal drive - Very old Venetian harbour town, with a lot of history, numerous Byzantine churches and monasteries, enchanting Venetian monuments, the most well-preserved Renaissance city in Greece, with endless beaches, caves, gorges and unique flora and fauna and great food and shopping. Tour the incredible hilltop Fortezza which is a star-shaped, 16th-century citadel and feel the history and enjoy the incredible views.

We stayed here as a group of 10 for 3 weeks in August and had a lovely time. Gaby was very helpful and easy to contact if we needed anything during our stay. It was 1.5hr drive from Heracklion airport.
The villa is lovely. Stunning views. pool table was great fun. The fruit and vegetables growing in the garden were very handy too. Rooms were clean and the air con throughout the villa was good.
The location was very quiet. Local village had most things we needed. Small shop. Bakery and couple of restaurants. Beach was a 10 minute drive and it was stunning. The restaurant by the beach turned out to be our favorite place to eat during our stay. Think it was called Sirokos. It was a 15 minute drive to the fresh water lake Kournas which was absolutely beautiful. The main local town georgiopolis was about 15 minute drive and had a really nice child friendly beach and plenty of restaurants. The town itself had a lovely atmosphere.
Had a great time here and would love to come back another time.

Wir haben mit insgesamt 12 Leuten (18-20 Jahre) eine Woche in der Villa verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Haus ist sehr groß und modern, sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und auch definitiv groß genug. Der Pool ist perfekt und wurde sogar alle 2 Tage von Gaby sauber gemacht.
Wir haben durchgehend laut Musik gehört (oft auch nachts) was zum Glück niemanden gestört hat, da es keine Nachbarn gibt.
Gaby ist eine super liebe und hilfsbereite Person, man konnte sie rund um die Uhr erreichen und sogar als einer von uns sich verletzt hat, ist sie mit ihm zum Arzt gefahren und hat sich total gut um ihm gekümmert.
Wir hatten kein Auto gemietet, was auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen wäre, da die Villa schon sehr abgelegen ist und man zu Fuß nicht wirklich viel erreichen kann. Wir sind mit Taxis gefahren, welche auch tatsächlich nicht so teuer waren. Die Aussicht lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall und die Landschaft drumherum ist wirklich sehr schön. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und würden definitiv nochmal kommen!

Wir haben in der Villa Chreal 8 Tage mit 9 Jungs gewohnt und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
Es gibt keine Nachbarn, sodass man ruhig etwas lauter Musik am Pool hören konnte und es auch sonst keine Probleme gab.
Die Kommunikation mit Gaby war super und hat ohne Probleme funktioniert. Fragen wurden schnell und zuverlässig beantwortet.
Das Objekt war sauber und der Pool wurde regelmäßig gereinigt da sich über den Tag diverse Fliegen oder Blätter im Pool sammelten.
Man benötigt etwa 7-10min mit dem Roller vom Haus zum Meer. Taxis holen ein problemlos vom Haus ab und bringen einen zum gewünschten Ort.
Das Haus und der Service Vorort war klasse.

The Villa was amazing, and exceeded every one of our expectations. It has all the needed utilities for the living room, bathrooms and bedrooms, and more than we have ever had for the kitchen, which is fully equipped with everything you might need for baking/cooking etc. The host - Gaby, welcomed us from Kavros, where she waited for us to arrive and guided us to the Villa. She was very helpful and provided us with lots of tips for restaurants, beaches. supermarkets etc. and made us feel familiar with the nearby surroundings - we couldn't thank her enough for all the help and info she gave us. Additionally to all of the above we where also offered an abundance in fruits and vegetables. This spacious Villa really is a perfect fit for anyone interested in a private vacation, with its own pool table, swimming pool, big garden and short distance from the beach.
