About this cabin rental
The Country Road Cottage is located in the rural Kiamichi Mountains in southeast Oklahoma. The view from this cabin includes beautiful sunsets, colorful foliage(during the season), and breathtaking mountain contours.
It is equipped with all the essentials that make your stay as comfortable as being at home. You will have an outdoor grill, electric stove top and oven, toaster, crock pot, various pots and pans and dishes and eating utensils. You just need to decide what meals you want to make!
With two bedrooms that have queen size beds, you can plan a romantic escape or a fun trip with family and friends! We also now have a queen size pull out couch in the living room!There is an outdoor fire pit, and we supply the firewood! There is a bathroom, easily accessible by both bedrooms, that is equipped with a standing shower.
This cabin also has access to the nearby game room that is equipped with a log burning fireplace, pool table, ping pong table, dart board, and card table. It has shared access with another cabin. Let the competition begin!
This cabin is one of three cabins that are close in proximity yet far enough away to still be private. We welcome group stays in all three cabins and offer a group rate discount! Bring everyone!
You can grab a seat around the fire place, compete in the game room, lounge in a chair on the deck, or take a walk if you need to stretch your legs. Let the Country Road Cottage bring you to a place you can call home away from home!

The cabin was clean and well located, easy access off the highway. Olivia and Matt were very helpful and made our stay a pleasant one. We will definitely return again.

My sister and I went for my birthday weekend. A few miles before Smithville we ran into snow (coming from Beaver Bend area) that we were not expecting. Less than an inch, but coming from Dallas, that is a lot!There was no one else on the mountain so we were able to turn the music up and dance all over the cabin and had a great time.The view is amazing and it was just like staying in a house vs that hotel feel.The owners were very response to our every question.It was cold so we did not get to use the game room because it would have taken forever to heat it up using the wood burning fire place, but we still had a great time.You couldnt find a better place to hide during a pandemic.
