About this villa rental
Tropical Villa at the foothill of the rainforest and 5-10 min. to the beach (20 miles from the airport, 30 miles from Old San Juan. Great location for nature, culture and beach lovers.
However, we do not allow parties, family reunions or events that could disturb our neighbors. Thank you for your consideration.
It is a two-story villa with porches almost around it. You can enjoy the tropical garden with a large swimming pool (NOT heated) An excellent retreat for relaxing, enjoying nature, sitting on the deck, playing dominoes, or jumping in the pool.
Close to all amenities, beaches(10min) restaurants (5min) hiking in the rainforest (we are located at the foothill of Rainforest El Yunque. Groceries in town (Rio Grande) Old San Juan 30 miles away.
Upper floor:
Living / Dining room;
Fully equipped kitchen;
1 Masterbedroom Queensize bed with bathroom;
1 Bedroom with two Full beds;
1 Bedroom with Queensize bed;
1 Bathroom with shower;
The two floors are connected with outdoor stairs
Ground floor :
1 Bedroom with Kingsize bed;
1 Bedroom with Full bed;
1 Bathroom with shower;
Laundry room;
Outdoors stairs to go to the next level.
Downstairs:
Entrance: Place for 3 - 4 cars;

We have safety cameras installed on the outside of the house. (there are no cameras on the inside nor on the balconies) We do have noise detector (recommended by VRBO) that detect noise decibels but not conversations, simply to make sure our neighbors are not disturbed. We do respect our guest's privacy.
In Puerto Rico water and electricity outages can occur. We have a water cistern as a backup for water but in case of an electricity outage, there is no backup. However most of the time the electricity outage lasts a few hours. We do have a gas stove which will still allow you to cook.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Villa. Yvonne and Jose Arturo Morell shared their beautiful home with 9 of us visiting Puerto Rico on a family vacation. Everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well stocked with all the small appliances one could want along with basic spices, coffee filters, oils. The pool and pool area was delightful and our almost 6 year old granddaughter and her daddy spent hours in it. There were plenty of seating and table areas, inside and out. We ate most of our meals out on the balcony. Even though the home is situated in a neighborhood, it felt very private with lots of greenery and flowering plants. The sounds of the birds and coquis surrounding us really made it feel like we were indeed in a rainforest! We took advantage of the area and went to el Yunque, Luquillo, San Juan and Vieques. The little town of Palmer has eateries, gift shops and a market. It is within walking distance (about a mile), but not a safe road to walk on, so we drove. The driveway within the gate had room for our 3 cars. Instructions about arriving and departing were clear. I can think of only 2 things that went awry...We had one question about recycling and didn't hear back from our hosts about disposing of them, and our son said his bed was uncomfortable and turned out the box spring was broken. There was an extra room/bed which was then used.I would HIGHLY recommend this lovely home for a vacation spot.

We picked this location due to the quiet setting and large pool. Our family had a great stay. The view from the porch was awesome.

Great location, 5 minutes to rain forest, 10 minutes to beach. Quiet neighborhood, no barking dogs, no traffic, just the sounds of the rainforest behind the house.

It's like time stops sitting in the porch listening to all the birds during the day and the beautiful sounds of the coqui at night Just perfect!
