Château Rosemont - Grande maison familiale campagne dans le Médoc avec piscine et tennis à 15 mn Bordeaux

Very nice and quaint edifice. Worn in a charming way and surprisingly large. Almost all you need is there, but sometimes you must look for it. Very friendly handover and handback.

All rooms have bathrooms, but important to know that 3 rooms share one toilet in the long corridor. Not a problem, but good to know if travelling with people who do not know each other. Pool needs some tile work done. None of the mentioned were problematic for us, 5 friends.

Lovely old chateau - perfect for our group. Great garden to eat outside in and have drinks. Had all we needed in the kitchen. Very efficient check-in and check-in.

We had a lovely time at the chateau Rosemont this August. The property is large and well equipped; the garden is just beautiful and provides ample entertainment , especially if you are staying with young children; there is even a barbecue should you wish to use it! The check in/out process is very friendly and efficient and the hosts are very responsive to any requests from guests. The area is wonderfully quiet. One does hear the neighbours in their gardens from time to time during the day but this is so far in the distance that it does not detract from the overall peace and tranquility. Rosemont is perfectly positioned for day trips to Bordeaux, the Atlantic coast and the neighbouring vineyards. There are plenty of local shops within a 5 min drive that have everything for day to day needs including a toy shop - in case one needs to entertain the kids at home on a rainy day! All in, a lovely holiday destination and excellent value for money.
