Great service and value

This homestay was very good value with very good service. We were greeted warmly and offered ginger lemon tea upon arrival. Once settled, Kanchan checked in to see if we needed anything, also offered complimentary dinner (we declined as we were doing a food tour).. She also did a fairly large load of laundry free of charge and arranged transport to Jaipur airport free of charge. And continued to check in with us to make sure we weren't hungry or in need of anything. Breakfast was good and cooked for us after we returned from the leopard safari around 10:00. Everything was great but do be warned that the hot water for the shower only lasts about five minutes, certainly not long enough for two people to do back to each showers. The second person would gave to wait 10 minutes for the water tank to get hit again.

Hot water for shower could last longer, but outweighed by good value for everything else.

One of a kind homestay with the friendliest people

An exceptional stay at Home of the World where the staff go above and beyond to meet your every need, for example our train was delayed and arrived at midnight yet Shubham still came and picked us up with no problem. You can get 3 meals a day freshly home cooked for you (fully included) and Kanchan even kindly did our laundry too! The accommodation is in a good location, yet away from the road and peaceful. Shubham and Kanchan are kind people who are eager to make your stay as restful as possible. A delightful stay that I would heartily recommend.

Amazing place

This place is amazing. We were really surprised when they asked us our time of arrival so they could come and pick us up from the railway station for free. This was truly appreciated. The same way they even paid for a rickshaw to take us to our bus station at the end of the stay, since we had a change in our schedule. Their policy is to make guests feel like home and family so they truly take care of you. They also offer food (no extra charges) so it's really amazing. No doubt on rebooking here again. It's such an amazing place!

Simply lovely

It was so friendly and homely!! Relaxed, unpretentious and comfortable. Guests need to be realistic - it’s not a hotel. We really enjoyed our stay of three nights and would happily stay longer. We felt welcomed and valued. Lovely ethos. Tasty home cooked meals. Thank you 🙏🏼

This place is amazing. Best in India so far… lovely people, free lunch and dinner (we didn’t know about it, even the New Year’s Eve dinner was free), very comfortable room, hot water in the shower. The owner of the place picked us up at the train station. I’m in awe.

The most friendly and helpful staff, they truly made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. Property had lovely rooftop and area for relaxing. Also, the room was spacious and very comfortable.

Loved staying here! The staff went above and beyond, waking up early to cook breakfast and helping with laundry. The location was great as it was close to the train station. The room was super comfy and clean. Everyone was friendly and kind. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Found my new home in Jaipur that I will always return to

It felt like I was staying with family! All the staff were so kind and very invested in ensuring I had a terrific stay. They cooked all meals and they were delicious and insisted on arranging the airport taxi which was greatly appreciated. I will come again next time I’m in Jaipur for sure!!

I am sensitive to noise and in the front room I was bothered slightly by outside noise, however the staff were amazing and did not hesitate to move me to another room which was more quiet. It was great!

Cosy stay with great hosts

Very cosy and clean room. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They provided us with free meals. Also, they found us a taxi to Pushkar for a good price.

Even though the property is near the center you cannot really walk anywhere, so you will be taking tuk tuks to go out and return. We took the Jaipur tour organized by the hotel, but it was a bit disappointing. The guides were not guides at all - they were just driving us and barely talked. It's a bit too expensive for what it is.

Amazing guesthouse, feels literally like you are in your grandmas home . Staff is very helpful and friendly and they help with EVERYTHING. Home of the World truly feels like a home away from home. Everything is perfectly taken care of — from the pickup at the station to arranging a guide and even doing the laundry. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We also took part in a lovely cooking workshop, including a visit to the local market, which was a real highlight. A wonderful and welcoming place to stay!

Excellent, safe, hospitable, and comfortable in a great neighborhood!

From the moment we booked we were made to feel like family. Shubham was quick to message us to see if we need a pickup from train station and his nephew Devyan was already waiting for us there when we arrived. The rooms we booked were extremely spacious and the guesthouse is very comfortable for lounging and relaxing from the daily beep-beep of the city. All meals were provided free of charge upon request and they were all very tasty. My favorite was the lemon ginger tea which they offered to teach me how to make at home! I want to give a special thanks to Devyan, Aki, Chef, and the rest of the wonderful staff at House of the World. Hope to see you all again soon!

Amazing place to stay if you love being with good people!

Genuinely one of the best places to stay anywhere! I was made to feel at home before I'd even arrived as WhatsApp messages came in making sure my taxi driver knew where to go and checking if I'd like some lunch when I got there! The atmosphere is just so positive and the enthusiasm and joie de vivre of everyone who works here is entirely contagious. Guests and staff come together in a way that I've not experienced anywhere before and I have not laughed so hard in a long time! Top marks. Would definitely recommend to anyone who values family, friendship and goodness of heart.

Don’t even hesitate—just book your stay at Home of the World! Shubham was an amazing host, and the whole team made us feel instantly welcomed and comfortable. After traveling for a while and arriving in busy Jaipur, it was such a relief to find this little oasis to escape to and relax after a day of exploring. I don’t usually write feedbacks. But in this case, I feel compelled to do so, as it is a sign of gratitude and expression of my very satisfaction to the team at Home of the world. This is not a really hotel, but rather a meeting place where you can definitely gain some valuable experiences. It is absolutely essential that the people who work at “Home…” do so because of being passionated about their work. Equally important, in my opinion, is their deep-rooted connection to the Hindu religion, which shapes and distinguishes them as individuals and hosts. I am especially grateful to Rohit, who patiently took the time to pick me up from the station, booked my train ticket, spend a whole day showing me the most important signs of Jaipur in his car and took me back to the station at 5:15 a.m. His brother gave me a better room because it would have been empty anyway. The girls in the kitchen cooked delicious meals and packed me provisions for the journey, did my laundry, and certainly did many other things for that I don’t have space to mention here. Thank you, and warmly connected to you all. 🙌🏻

Fantastic stay

The hospitality here was very good, they take making you feel at home quite literally. We also got a tour through the hostel, it was amazing. Not like the typical tours taking you to shops just to get a commission. It felt like a friend was taking us around town showing his favorite places and he genuinely wanted you to have a great time.

Mattresses are a bit hard but I guess that’s the standard in all of Asia.

Everything was wonderful! Shubham is an incredible host; he made me feel truly at home. As a solo traveler coming from a faraway country, that sense of support and welcome meant the world to me. Being in a new place where you don’t know anyone can be overwhelming, but having someone like Shubham there creates a special connection that makes all the difference. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer, as there’s so much to see in Jaipur. Fortunately, I did a day tour with Shubham and was able to explore both the local gems and top tourist spots; it was a fantastic experience. Thank you again, Shubham, for your kindness and support. I’ll always remember it!

An outstanding place to stay.

One of the best places I stopped during my time in India. All the staff were really friendly and went above and beyond to make sure my time here was pleasant. Lovely spacious rooms that were spotlessley clean, efficient air conditioning, and delicious food. I was here during Holi festival and really enjoyed being welcomed by the family to join in their celebrations. Overall an outstanding place to stay.

The boss of all homestays

This place really lives up to its name- it feels as comfortable and safe as a home. The staff are ever-smiling and helpful. The rooms are great. They provide value even beyond what was promised. e.g. while only breakfast was included in the plan, they gave us an excellent home-cooked dinner. Gave us great pointers on what to visit in Jaipur and even provided us free transport to a sightseeing location. And a free drop to the railway station! The owner, Shubham, helped us with hiring a taxi from our next destination- Jodhpur to Jaisalmer. And when i called him from Jodhpur when i was experiencing some difficulties with the taxi vendor, he kept following up during our trip to make sure everything was fine. Really was a superlative experience

There is a saying in Sanskrit “Vasudaiva kutumbakam” which means the world is one/my family. This was the thought that crossed my mind and heart when I thought about my stay. As I write these words, my heart swells with gratitude for the incredible experience we had at your home stay. Shubham, with his responsible demeanor, guided us through the intricacies of check-in, ensuring our stay began on a seamless note. His recommendations for exploring the city and knowledge as a local were top notch. Ruchi’s sweetness always made us feel at home, not just welcomed, but truly cherished. Shubham’s mom is the sweetest. Her presence was like a silent guardian, ensuring our every need was met with a smile. The food at your home stay was not just tasty but gave a feeling of satisfaction that one gets when eating home food. The staff were not just staff. Their smiles, willingness to assist and genuine kindness made us feel not like guests, but like family. Thank you for being more than hosts!!!

The bath soap/body wash is not present in the bathroom by default but was quickly arranged on request. So I personally have nothing that I disliked.
