About this cabin rental

The Meidlnhof hut is a typical mountain house made of stones and wood which is located at the edge of the forest at 1250 meters above sea level, where the farms stop to make way for larch forests and pastures.
We are in the Valle dei Mocheni in the heart of Trentino, also called the Enchanted Valley, which stands out for its generous and still unspoiled nature. Perfect destination for lovers of walking, mountain biking and tranquility.
The house is spread over three levels and is well suited to be lived also by couples of friends and families. Outside the terrace from which you can admire the entire valley and its mountains. Here you can cook your dishes on the barbecue and enjoy them together in the open air.
I will be available for the entire duration of your stay and happy to be able to share with you tips and advice to make you live and enjoy your holiday among the beauties of the Enchanted Valley.

We spent a lovely week at this quiet and well maintained property. Accommodation matches the photos well. It is very clean and has modern fittings and comfy beds and many nice touches like good quality soaps and plenty of decent coffee. Also an excellent shower.A 25 minute hairpin drive down the mountain to Pergine from where you can head north to Bolzano etc or south to Lake Garda on fast roads. Also we followed Valentina’s advice and had a lovely day in Moena to see the Dolomites, an easy journey.Valentina was friendly and helpful throughout our stay and delivered fresh bread every morning as well as other tasty treats.Highly recommended property.

Fell in love with the cabin & our fabulous host Valentina who was so welcoming and helpful. The cabin was well equiped, the beds very cosy & comfortable. Highly recommend - the location was magical.

Das Häuschen liegt mitten in den Bergen, direkt am einzigen Fahrweg einer Sackgasse, nah zu einem wunderschönen lichten Waldrand. Das große Plus ist die wirklich große Hilfsbereitschaft und freundliche Umsorgung durch die Vermieterin Valentina, aber auch insgesamt die Gastfreundschaft der Bevölkerung. Der Nachteil ist, dass man wirklich das Auto für fast alles braucht. Wichtig zu wissen: das eine Bad ist sehr niedrig und die Wendeltreppe durchs Haus sehr eng. Aber tolle Terrasse, umzäunter Garten, Hund erlaubt. Einzelne Verbesserungen von Ausstattung in der Küche sind sicherlich noch drin, aber wir hatten grundlegende Dinge eh dabei und hätten Valentina nach allem fragen können. Toller Urlaubsort ! Supernett ! Siehe andere Bewertungen ! Gewöhnungsbedürftig das Bellen der Hunde im Dorf.

La baita è veramente bella e dotata di ogni confort. L'accoglienza e l'ospitalità di Valentina superlativa ci ha fatto trovare uova fresche, pane appena sfornato, un tagliere di speck e formaggi e una bottiglia di vino. La Valle dei Mocheni si merita il giusto appellativo di Valle Incantata è stata preservata dai suoi abitanti che portano avanti tradizioni e cultura. Una meta dove rigenerarsi immersi nel verde e nel silenzio lontani dal turismo sfrenato.

Wir haben uns in der Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit, fernab von jeglichem Tourismus, rundum wohl gefühlt und gut erholt. Eine tolle Berghütte mit schöner Terrasse, Kamingrill, wunderbarer Aussicht und einem weißen Esel auf einem Nachbarhof, der uns täglich mehrmals grüßte. Valentina war/ist einzigartig als Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns mit einer Schinkenplatte, Eiern, Salat, Sekt, Marmelade …. verwöhnt und stand während unseres Aufenthalts immer mit Auskünften und Informationen rund um das Fersental zur Verfügung. Ihre Großzügigkeit, Freundlichkeit und große Gastfreundschaft wird uns immer in Erinnerung bleiben und wir können dieses „Domizil“ für Ruhesuchende uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Vielen Dank, liebe Valentina und Familie, für ALLES ! Liebe Grüße auch an unsere unmittelbaren Nachbarn, mit denen wir ein tolles Fest in italienisch-deutscher Freundschaft feiern durften.

Der Aufenthalt war super. Wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben. Die Gastgeberin war super nett und hilfsbereit. Valentina hat uns viele Informationen über die Gegend mitgeteilt. Die Hütte war sehr schön und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gegend ist wunderschön und wir haben tolle Wanderwege entdeckt. Ein Urlaub mit Hund ist dort sehr empfehlenswert. Ab der Hütte kann direkt los gewandert werden an schöne Orte mit tollen Aussichtspunkten. In der Hütte hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Alles was für den Alltag benötigt wird war vorhanden. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und bedanken uns für den tollen Urlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Gastgeberin. Wir wurden sogar mit einem tollen Vesper (Speck, Käse und Wein) überrascht. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und sprechen auch deutsch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Auch in der Vorsaison lohnt sich der Urlaub im Meidlnhof. Das Ferienhaus hat alles, was man braucht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Selten haben solche Gastfreundschaft erlebt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Valentina hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen mit eine tolle Brotzeit (Speck, Käse, Marmalade) inkl. eine Flasche Wein und eine Sortiment von Kuchen vorbereitet! Sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die uns sehr nützliche Tipps für Ausflüge, Essen gehen usw. gegeben hat. Super Standort für Ausflüge (Dolomiten / Gardasee usw.). Sehr ruhige Lage in wunderbare Landschaft mit tollem Ausblick auf Wiesen und Berge. Direkt ab Haus gibt's tolle Wanderwege - ein großer Pluspunkt für uns. Sehr saubere, gut gepflegte, charmante Unterkunft mit komplett eingezäunten Garten - daher perfekt für Hunde und Kleinkinder. Wir empfehlen den Meidlnhof sehr gern weiter.

A charming home in the magical valley

The Baita is simply charming, clean, tidy, well organised and very cosy situated in a beautiful location amidst the mountains of this verdant valley, near to the woods for peaceful walks and treks. It is about 20-30 minutes from a number of towns such as Pergine and Trento but there is also a supermarket in the village nearby. The view from the Baita is so pretty and it’s a joy to just sit in the garden and soak up the sun or to go out and explore further afield. Valentina and her family are wonderful hosts- kind, friendly and very welcoming- thank you for the warm welcome and then delicious food! It was a delight to stay here, we loved it!

Wir waren mit unseren Familie in dem Häuschen von Valentina und Stephano. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, Absprachen haben zuverlässig geklappt. Eine kleine, superleckere Jause stand bereit. Inmitten der Natur, 5 Minuten bis zum Wald, zum wandern und radeln. 30 min nach Trento, 3 Seen waren auch schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar. Perfekter Tapetenwechsel 😎Danke

Valentina und ihre Familie haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und hatten eine tolle Brotzeit mit Speck, Wurst,Brot und Wein vorbereitet.Genau richtig nach der langen Reise und sehr lecker.Eine Sachertorte hat sie uns auch noch geschenkt ,und wir haben sie sehr genossen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig mit tollem Ausblick auf die umliegenden Höfe, Wiesen und Berge und ein guter Standort für Ausflüge in die Dolomiten oder auch an den Gardasee oder Venedig,Meran, und an Badeseen in der Nähe. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt und empfehlen den Meidlnhof sehr gern weiter. Viele Grüße und Danke an Valentina und ihre nette Familie.
