Perfect for visiting the lakes, the hosts were great, food was superb, place is relaxing and has everything for nice stay. Do try the 5 course meal! Visnja is a master chef! They took in consideration all our meal preferences and we had a wonderful evening.

This is a lovely cottage with tranquil location. Very cozy and comfortable with all amenities to make it a memorable stay. Food was nice and plentiful albeit a little expensive.
6 hours after checkout we received a message from owner to call her back. When we did she stunningly accused us of badly damaging her bathroom tap which now apparently needed replacement. We were shocked. We stayed at the property for less than 40 hours and the bathroom (whilst having general wear and tear), was in good condition and we left it in that same condition upon check out. There was some suggestion by the owner that we spilled something acidic (???) and corroded the tap and told us that it absolutely could not have been their cleaner whom their trusted implicitly. This of course was complete none sense. My family travels extensively and has stayed is hundreds of hotels. Firstly we have never damaged any premises we stayed in and secondly if we did, we would tell the owners and offer to pay for the damage. Having spent €800 on this accommodation and food for 2 nights, paying for a replacement tap would not be an issue. Separately (and a bit if a side comment) we do not pack acid which is capable of corroding water taps at hotels.
After I pressed the owner for a photo which shows the damage she quickly ended the call and said it won’t be necessary and muttered something about us being dishonest. I found the entire thing very bizarre and somewhat disappointing after a pleasant stay. What motivated this owner to accuse its customers of damage to property without providing any evidence remains a mystery. We will try to remember this place fondly despite this issue, but we certainly will not be recommending this place to anyone else.
