Not many homes offer the privacy and quality feel that this home does. Whether your trip to Maine includes hiking, skiing, hunting, fishing or anything else out of doors- this is the place for you.
Here, you can unwind and get away from it all. Neighbors will never be seen and other than an occasional passerby, no one will disturb you.
This home was designed to offer tranquility, peace, and the opportunity to re-connect with your family and yourself. The affordable nightly rate makes this a highly desirable rental home.
Inside of the house, the main level offers two private bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other has a trundle bed. There is a shared, full bathroom and an open concept living room and dining area.
The kitchen is open to the dining room and the oversized TV can be seen from any of these rooms. This is an ideal place to gather at the end of the day and the cozy woodstove will add to the ambiance to your evening.
The master bedroom is upstairs in a private loft and this is furnished with a queen size bed and a private TV.
There is loft space at the top of the stairs which is separate from the master bedroom and there are two additional beds which accommodate 3 additional guests, for a total of 5 on the second level.
The basement is partially finished with egress access and is furnished to accommodate a sleeping capacity of up to 5 guests.
The Sportsmen's Retreat is located approximately 4 miles from town and is nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains. Come with family, friends and your dogs! This is a home to be enjoyed with those you love.
Also available as a seasonal rental (Dec 1 - April 30) for $20,000

Minimum age: Primary guest must be at least 25 years of age to book this home.
Snow removal: All our homes are contracted with various snow removal companies in the area. This includes plow service and snow shoveling for decks and harder to reach areas.
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking.

Great cabin with all the essentials - fairly quiet location - cell service is spotty and gps was not accurate so best to read directions provided - coffee maker was very dirty - booking/payment/check-in/out were all very easy!

Had a great weekend when we stayed here. Beautiful home with incredible vaulted ceilings and log cabin charm. Was cozy and the house fit our 3 families very comfortably. Great location and was a quick drive to Sunday River. Would definitely stay here again!
