About this cottage rental
Experience the beautiful sunrise over the sea as you open the door of your lovely cottage and step onto your patio. Nestled in a mature garden with numerous palms, the cottage and pool provide the perfect setting to enjoy the peace and tranquility of this most beautiful island. A mere 20 minutes away by car brings you to the South coast and the many beaches, restaurants and activities that you could wish for before returning home to your cottage to luxuriate in the pool or on your lounger..
The cottage is located in the gardens of the main house. It is spacious and has 1 bedroom with Queen bed, bathroom, kitchen and living area. There is also an east facing patio off the bedroom with views of the sunrise. Please note that the AC in the house is disconnected so not available for use. There are lovely breezes the majority of the time and ceiling fans in every room. The cottage is also fully alarmed.
Guests have full and sole access to the pool and pool deck and have a private patio overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with dining table and chairs should they choose to dine outdoors.
House Rules
- Smoking is only permitted in the garden or on the patio.
- Absolutely no parties, events or gatherings permitted.
- When leaving the cottage please switch off all lights and fans.
- The pool is for the exclusive use of the paying guests and not for visiting family or friends unless previously agreed with the owners.
- Additional overnight guests are not allowed without prior approval by the owners.

The bungalow was extremely comfortable; a perfect base for our holiday. In a very peaceful part of the island where a rental car gave us easy access to dozens of beaches and attractions. Doug and Wynette are amazing, not only for making us a Christmas lunch but for their kindness and generosity too.Wynette had decorated the bungalow for Christmas, even adding her own home made soaps and they were always available for help and assistance if needed. If we come back to the island this is where we’d stay.

The property is excellent for a couple. Everything you need is available and the location and views are perfect. Wynette and Doug are fantastic hosts. Everything was explained in person by Wynette but the communication prior to our arrival was also wonderful. During our stay they were also always available for us and when we met up they were great company.
Just a really enjoyable holiday.

The Villa is absolutely amazing, every thing you need for your stay is available to you. I have thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the beautiful pool and gardens, yes there is the odd plane overhead but nothing to invasive.
The hosts Doug and Wynette are lovely lovely people, extremely welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay fantastic.
I will definitely return to this beautiful villa, it has been one of, if not the best holidays I have experienced in Barbados.
Thanks again to our hosts for letting us experience their holiday oasis.

Wynette and Douglas were fabulous hosts, really enjoyed our rum punch on the veranda with you guys and the delicious cake you baked us for our anniversary xx
The cottage is exactly as described with amazing views of the ocean and a beautiful pool area to ourselves.
