Great location for those looking for peace and quiet.
Not ideal for those wanting to do sightseeing - need to cross Apenine range each time you want to visit a larger city.

Outstanding view. Very cosy house with nice temperature inside during the summer, even without air condition. Huge garden with safe parking place and very nice pool. The surroundings are great for quiet vacation and perfect for cycling or hiking. Firenzuola is a small town but has everything you may need - supermarket, ice creams and great home made pasta (search for a small shop near the north gate to old town).
There should be a sign on the wall with the name of the villa or at least visible address sign. We had a bit of stress managing to find the place. Also bear in mind that the apartment is placed in the mountains - you may easily get there with standard car but there are many bends on the way and it is not comfortable for kids with motion sickness. The best way is to pick "Diretissima" highway and exit with Firenzuola exit and then go through Monte di Fo and then turn right BEFORE the roundabout on the Passo della Futa.
