Worth it for the location!

View and location are spectacular! Minimum 2 nights booking meant it was expensive for 2 of us, for one night! But a perfect starting point for our walk to Salanfe... Much better value for a small group for 2 nights!

Only the view of the mountains and the free parking.

Unfortunately, the saying "too good to be true" rings accurate for this particular story. When my children and I finally arrived, we were surprised to find out our 'apartment' would be located under the local - and only - restaurant. The 'apartment' was a mere two rooms big; one holding a makeshift kitchen, sitting area and a bunk bed. The apartment was absolutely filthy and was obviously not thoroughly cleaned for a long period of time. There were marks all over the wall and floor, the bedsheets were covered in dust and filth and the dishes still had stains on them. Another thing to note is that the promised washing machine was not available anywhere in the premises. As for the bathroom. Despite what I was led to believe, the bathroom that was advertised as private were actually the public toilets for the restaurant and a shower room, both of which were unbelievable unsanitary. There were also no towels provided for us, so that shower room was useless to us even if I did want to use it. The beds - a bunk bed and double bed - were also very old and creaky: any movement could be heard at least 10m away. The mattresses were not of good quality as they were flimsy and felt cheap to sleep on. May I also add that the restaurant closes rather earlier and if you are outside for a quick moment, there is a chance that you will be locked out. This had happened to me and, as I had left my keys back in the apartment, I found myself locked out for a full hour before an employee finally allowed me back in. Overall, with all these issues, I was forced to leave after the first night and felt much happier and we left. I can truthfully say that it was the worst experience in my entire life while on holiday and I wished that I was warned before I booked this place. So, while I do admit the mountain view beautiful, I would recommend to any potential customers that sleeping in your car would be much more pleasant than the atrocious 'apartment'.

super schön

Alles, mega schön renoviert, super schönes Bad und super schöne Küchenkombination. Ganze Wohnung mit Holz sehr schön ausgekleidet. 😊Alles funktionierte einwandfrei.

Gab gar nichts zu beanstanden. Wir standen früh auf und gingen wandern. Am Abend konnten wir in der neuen Küche super Abendessen kochen. Wer lange schlafen will, wird die Stühle im Restaurant hören.

Vue exceptionnelle

Emplacement exceptionnel, une vue incroyable sur le mont blanc, endroit Très propre… accueil sympa… c’était parfait!

Attention si vous avez des enfants…. Pas de barrière de sécurité devant la terrasse ( mais la vue est fabuleuse sans barrière) Pas de possibilités de manger au restaurant le soir ( prévoir son repas)

Geen vaatwasser, geen deuren tussen de ruimtes. 1 ruimte had een simpel schuifdeur wat niet goed dicht ging. De keuken was nieuw geplaats waarbij ook een nieuw afzuigkap alleen bij het aan zetten viel zaagsel op de kookplaat. Dus kooken met deksel erop...
