An incredible, spacious, characterful property, with epic views in a charming village. I feel photos in listing to not do the property justice. Perfect spot for cycling & hiking - or if you have a car, as a base to explore anywhere on the island. Well equipped kitchen, had everything we needed. Washing up liquid & dish washer tablets provided, variety of spices etc in cupboard too. Two large bathrooms (one has a shower build next to a boulder that felt like washing in a waterfall in nature - love this design!) Great cycling friendly cafe 1 min walk away (Sa Ruta Verda) with good vibes and wholesome food 9-5. Local shop had most foods we needed for cooking including Olive oil made in the town! The agent of property responded quickly to our questions and the owners kindly let us check in early to help with road closure logistics happening on the day (312km cycling event = road access limited on transfer day). I’m not sure if the listing stated it clearly but there are *FOUR* beautiful double bedrooms (I thought there were three for some reason). Not a fault of the property (it was my choice!) but potentially not the perfect place with young busy children due to a high-quality-extensive-looking breakable decorative things (vases/ bowls etc.) - and also drops from the stairs/ terrace etc. Was manageable but with a toddler meant we were on high alert and couldn’t turn an eye for a second! They did provide a cot, baby bedding & high chair so had considered needs of a child in that way. I would highly recommend as a beautiful base for responsible adults (or families with older or calmer children!) P.S you can enter the property via road at top (where you see pink part of house). This way you walk down garden steps and enter via kitchen diner (or one of the upstairs bedrooms if you chose). The key box is via this route. OR you can access from the top or bottom road via the steps shown in my attached photo - this takes you in via the living room.

Visiting with a young toddler - the potentially breakable items, beautiful high quality furnishings plus hard steps & drops. Not a fault of the property of owners obviously… just a considerations around whether the property is suitable for your setup!

Das Haus lag optimal in Caimari, am Rand des Dorfes, fußläufig zu einigen lokalen Bars, einem kleinen Supermarkt und den Wanderwegen in die Berge.

Alles war wie erwartet.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft. Platz ist ausreichend für 8 Personen. Küchenausstattung ist sehr gut.

In einem der Schlafzimmer oben ist die Matratze durchgelegen. Da wir nur zu zweit waren, haben wir ein anderes Schlafzimmer genommen. Die Straßen sind sehr eng, daher sollte man nur Kleinwagen mieten.
