Very pleasant stay.

Very comfy, cozy house with everything we needed. Extremely reasonably priced. Booked very last minute after travelling from down south and finding the accommodation we had booked was not up to standard, we were very pleased to find this lovely house.

Great Stay!

The house was in a great location for us and in close proximity to the venue we were attending for a horse show. It was tidy, clean towels and lots of sweets and stuffed animals for our 9 year old daughter.

Sadly the beds gave us an unsettled sleep as mattresses weren’t great and frames were very squeaky. A few kitchen items were dirty, not really much crockery and glassware to use for 6 guests.

House was a great size, kids loved the garden shed. Parking was excellent. Host answered promptly when txt about keys.

Very dissatisfied with the level of cleanliness. The filter in the cooker hood was dripping with grease. My nephew couldn’t use the high chair as it was filthy. The straps were absolutely disgusting. Stale smell as you walked through the front door. Tumble dryer was on when we walked through door with the last people’s towels. Linen was clean, however when we stripped the beds this morning as we left the pillows were stained with god knows what. Couldn’t get tv’s on. If you have light sleeping children I wouldn’t recommend this property as the floors and doors are really noisy. The whole house could do with a make over.

Great base ,shame about the bed.

Good sized property for our needs close to where our frei nds live.This is our second time staying.we had a few problems with showers which were sorted out straight away.

Having stayed before 3-4 years ago and having highlighted the main bed not being comfortable had hoped for a better situation this time.It really isn't comfortable at all.The matress is part it's best and the base appears to be bodged together. The only other thing is the lack of some utensils and cooking crockery ie a lasagne type dish.

Good quiet location the house is clean and tidy no worries at all about this staying here no complaints at all plus only a eight minute walk away the Brighton beell public house is handy we had some good meals in there i would definitely recommend this house to stay

Roomy downstairs and main bedroom, detached nice and quiet. Room for two cars on the driveway. All the normal kitchen facilities and private garden. Better than a hotel when travelling as a family with multiple adults.

Stairs and floor between the two smallest rooms exceptionally squeaky. Central heating came on at 5am when I checked the settings appeared to be target of 35 degrees. Turned off and changed settings the next day. For the family bathroom could not see anywhere obviose to hang wet towels.

It was excellent and we would certainly use it again.

The house was very close to my mother's house (too small to house us all) and we needed a house to accommodate 5 people over Christmas, as our home had burst pipes. It was also really nice to have milk, eggs, chocolates etc left by the hosts for our arrival. The house is also really close to the railway station, so our daughter was able to get the train there from London and walk to the house. In addition, the hosts were really responsive to a problem with one of the toilets.

It was all excellent. If I had to suggest something, it would be some more serving dishes in the kitchen.

The house served its purpose and the important parts were very clean.

Shortage of loo roll (good job only 3 of us were able to come instead of the 5) Lots of Cobwebs and dirty marks on walls. Need more teaspoons. Surprised to find dishwasher full... Clean but full. Didn't expect to think about emptying it

This property is in a lovely location and close to a station. Also is located on a very private quiet street. Good sized rooms and multiple bathrooms, also very good parking options. Owners are polite and professional, and there were contact numbers for out of hours. They were reachable when needed and arrived promptly.

After giving my 3 year old a bath there was a water leak through the ceiling, felt this was a major hazard with a child in the house. Owner was professional, however we were not offered any form of refund/complimentary discount which was disappointing. Especially given our belonging got very wet, and it did mean we felt almost ‘rushed’ out of the house before our check out time. Radiators in the kitchen and living room were not working meaning the downstairs was not really an accessible area to relax in during October. House was clean to an extent, but there was multiple spiders/cobwebs in the ensuite shower of the main bedroom. And some areas were quite dusty. Also an inhaler, hammer and screwdriver was left in the bottom draw of a kitchen cupboard, another major hazard with a small child. The furniture does its job, however is dated and has slightly damaged. I felt it could do with a little refresh, given this is being ‘rented.’ For example, the bedding was very bobbly and dining chairs the leather is coming away from the seat due to being dated.

Clean and tidy house. Good decorations. Great location.

The beddings are old and worn. Mattresses on double bunk are too flat and feel much like a mat. Shower in bathroom leaks. Microwave cover required. Put clear instructions on the fridge temperature and the light controls.

Very good

Absolutely lovely house with great character. Facilities were 100% spot on. Maybe have a fan available but it was particularly hot and humid when we stayed. Great contact with host and would definitely stay again!!! Kids (4 & 5) absolutely loved it!!!!! They wanted to move in!

The mattress was not the best for someone with back problems, but that's just a personal thing as I'm fussy about beds.

A little tired

The property is located in a quiet cul-de-sac & is a good size. I booked it as I was visiting people in Winsford. The beds are comfortable & slept well. Good communication from host.

The decor needs to be freshened up as the painted walls are not painted to the ceilings or right to the skirting boards. Around the doors also require painting. It is a shame that the painting lets the house down as otherwise the reviews would be better.
