I had a hard time writing this review and it feels heartbreaking. The owners are literally the best, you rarely meet such lovely and good-hearted people. We even stayed until after checkout because Andrew was helping me and we were having good conversation and he even gifted my son. Breakfast is home-made and you can have anything you like. The bed is also cosy!

Cleanliness was my main concern once I digested that we would be staying within the house just off the living room (which was not an issue for us as the owners are respectful and quiet). In our bedroom it was clean enough and also the bathroom was acceptable. However, the remainder of the house really needs to be cleaned more thoroughly and regularly which I think hadn't been done in a long time and made me really uncomfortable and took me by surprise. There was nowhere to step on the terrace without going into bird droppings and I found it unacceptable to cook in their kitchen. You need to know there are dogs in the house, too, which doesn't help the cleanliness issue. If you can fix the cleaning, I would rate this place much better and I feel dearly sorry to leave this review as Peggy and Andrew were just so so good and helpful.
