While searching for a property in Darjeeling at Booking.com, the subjected property was shown as 1-2 km from the Centre. However, property was situated at around 20 km from Darjeeling and we have to pay to and fro taxi charges of Rs. 8000/- from Darjeeling because of off route from Darjeeling. Amt of taxi fare was almost equal to two nights’ hotel stay rent at the hotel. We have to bear exhobirant taxi charges, due to misrepresentation at Booking.com. Further, the hotel site was of no attraction to us.

The hotel was located in the heart of Bijanbari bazar. This quaint town is itself around 40 kms from Darjeeling. It took us around 40 minutes drive from the hotel to Darjeeling by Innova at a speed of 30 KMPH. The hotel had nice pretty rooms. The double bed room had basic facilities. However, I thought the bed size could have been slightly bigger. A wardrobe would have been better. There was no viewing option from your hotel as it was covered by some cloth. The food was too good. Right from the simple breakfast and the lunch and dinners. We enjoyed the warm food.

We stayed at this hotel with our family. We think, the biggest drawback the hotel has is its location. It is around 40kms from Darjeeling town. The hotel was also located in the middle of the Bijanbari market. It would be better if the hotel would have been placed near the Little Range River. Given that it is a small hotel and the rates are too good, the overall facilities of the hotel and the staff behaviour was good. The food was a major attraction. However, we didn't like the Chicken Dragon Fry. Rest all the food we liked.
