Spacious and fully equipped apartment in Barcelona
This spacious apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 8 persons, and it’s not a surprise thanking its big area of 120m2. Apart from its three bedrooms and a living room with a sofa-bed, the apartment offers one full bathroom and extra guest toilet: in this way you can comfortably travel with a big group without having problems of space. The apartment is fully equipped, including air conditioning, satellite TV and Internet Wi-Fi and it's located in a building with elevator; what is more, there are a lot of places to be found around: from shops and cafes to museums and parks.
What to see around?
The apartment is located nearby Plaça Espanya, city’s biggest transportation hub. In this area you can also find the National Art Museum of Catalonia and in summer evenings you can chillout on its steps watching the amazing show of the Magic Fontains of Montjuic, absolutely for free! During the day you can go for a walk on Montjuic Mountain, where you'll find many parks, monuments and viewpoints.
However, this area is not only famous for its sights, but also for the events which holds. Fira de Barcelona is famous for its numerous salons and expositions, including the Mobile World Congress; annual Sonar Music Festival also takes place here.
The quantity and quality of local bars and restaurants will surprise even the most demanding gourmets: here you can try Catalan typical food or at least you can buy fresh products at Sant Antoni Market and cook your dinner in our holiday apartment in Barcelona.
How to get to the apartment?
The nearest metro station is Plaça Espanya (L1 and L3), from which you can reach all the areas of Barcelona in a few minutes, but knowing that the flat is in the city center will be also nice and funny walk rather than use metro. Also Sants train station is nearby, which means that you can escape Barcelona for a day tripto the nearest cities: Sitges, Castelldefels, Montserrat.
The easiest way to get from the airport by public transport is to use A1 and A2 Aereobuses, which reach Plaça Catalunya via Plaça Espanya, and from there you can reach the apartment by walk.
For a more comfortable journey you can use our transfer service. Our driver will meet you at the airport and take you directly to the apartment’s door.

This was a large bright apartment (the kitchen is very dark, without windows but the dining area and bedrooms are all bright) in a nice neighborhood. good nice clean tile floors. the shades and windows worked great. opened and closed easily . it smelled good. very easy to walk to the Metro, good cafes and restaurants all over the place. perfect location. quiet neighbors. the host was a fantastic communicator, always answered very quickly and was very helpful. our cabby took us to the wrong address! and the lady waited for us to walk to the apt from where we were dropped off. they have someone check you in to make sure you are all ok. also to show your passport and pay a small tax. we were surprised that the wifi came up on our phone as "low security," and there were no blankets in the apt at all, we used bedspreads from the other beds, the AC was loud and worked best in the main room, but good enough for our stay as there were only 2 of us, if a larger party some might have been hotter, there was no laundry detergent for the washer, no coffee for the coffee maker, there was no soap dish in the shower, you put your soap on the shower floor! the shower drain was loose, easily kicked off, there were not towel racks in the powder room, no kitchen towels provided, no little trash cans in the kitchen or bathrooms, in fact only 1 trash bag was given, that we had to use for all the trash in the apt, 2 bathrooms and kitchen, we could not find instructions for the washing machine, nor check out instructions re the trash--finally the host told us you are supposed to walk a block away to take out the trash! I think the cleaners should do this as that is not reasonable to ask people to do. we figured out the complex barcelona recycling system and there is also compost in barcelona--but trash and compost were a block away as above. the recycling was closer. the balcony did not exist as they had the heat pump unit on it. even if it did exist the street was a bit too busy to really sit on it. but it didnt exist. the doorknob always fell off but it was ok as you didn't need it. All in all this place had great bones in a great residential neighborhood just needed some small touches and I would take the balcony off of the listing. we bought a smoke alarm at a local store so we could sleep without worrying. apparently it is not a regulation to have these in Barcelona, so be aware of that. thanks!
