Phenomenal house for a perfect winter stay
First off - Super hosts. Extremely helpful with all questions and they maintain a great property. The house is immaculate and stocked with all supplies that you could want (lots of wood for the fires and, if you like to cook life us, an extensive array of everything you could ask for in a kitchen). Large dining tables (both indoors and outdoors) could easily fit 10. Wonderful indoor fireplace kept us toasty inside and a large outdoor firepit was perfect for roasting marshmallows outdoors. An outdoor sauna (see the photo here) with a spectacular view over the valley will warm you up in snowy evenings and the outdoor hot tub is well worth the extra charge for its operation. The property is on a large plot so you don't see or hear any neighbours. Beautiful views over the valley and the hills in the distance. All six of us had a phenomenal long weekend here (and the dogs loved the property too). Next door are great hiking trails and it is a short drive from skiing. Highly recommend this place for a group of friends or family. I'd happily return.
Small issue - pillows need replacing and would like two pillows per person.

A cute, warm and comfortable house, equipped with everything you need, an excellent location and a base for star trips throughout the Black Forest region. The hostess took care of everything we needed, opened the laundry room for us to wash the children's clothes, and even took care of heating the hot tub outside the house.

The house is great, location is perfect for most activities, great jacuzzi and sauna. Kitchen well Equipped, very clean.
The partition in the house not comfortable for 2 families. Only 1 bed room in the 1st flour, and 3 bed rooms 2nd floor. Need to pay extra for jacuzzi and laundry room.

the car parking place is not next to the House entrance as there is a 20 meter downstairs path to the house, this makes it a hassle to load and unload the Bags.

Exceptional experience!
Everything about this place is amazing! The location is just perfect, the view from the balcony is so calm and far that some days we found it difficult to get out of the house and go somewhere else.. The house is well equipped, everything you need is there (except the microwave). Lots of kitchen appliances, even an egg cooker and a Nespresso machine! Rooms are very clean and modern perfectly working sanitary equipment. Gas BBQ is a blessing, we used it every odd night to grill and enjoy the views hitting the included Sauna afterwards and again with a breathtaking view of the valley and forests below. Nice adddition is a campfire spot surrounded by raspberry bushes, a sweet place to close the evening with a bewerage and a chat with family/friends untill the late hours.. I could go on about this place and the review will look like a novel but just go there and be amazed by tranquility and perfection of it all. Landlady Barbara is a marvel, super friendly and hospitable. We had an issue with gas canisters for the BBQ running empty and she came over within 15 mins with a full one and it was pretty late in the evening too..top service!!! PS. Parking is a bit up hill so carrying luggage is tricky but can be done if you take it easy. Or if you have a car with high clearance you can ride almost to the porch via the grass field as seen in the picture. Also mind the fact that the house is split in two floors that can accomodate two families but all of outdoor facilities are shared. Not a problem if you come with friends or parents/family but could be less comfortable with somebody else :)
Hot tub is a bit pricey. At least one-time use could be included in the price. Not that we used it in 32+ degrees but in the winter its a nice feature :). Its a personal preference but the pillows are very thin, even our son was complaining a bit

Great communication with super friendly host, great location with nice sauna and pool (cost 90 Euro for 2-3 days because water/heat is renewed). Super close to Feldberg, ski lifts, etc. - we had a tremendous stay! We also made a very nice walk directly from the house.

Host is very friendly and vry helpful and flexible regarding the check in/out time, the villa was very sparkling clean and comfortable, everything was equipped well in the kitchen and toilets, you will not need any thing than your food, supermarket is near by the car, up to the hill with outstanding view..
No light in the outdoor facility at the backyard..
