NAWAB KI DEOHRI - Varanasi 1 Km Kashi Vishwanath Temple

It is a historical house in Varananasi tucked away in a very quiet compund on a very vrazy crowded city. It is about as close to the river and temples as you can get by taxi - closer to the river and you would have to walk it.

Excellent stay

Room was neat and clean. Staff was helpful. Location, in lanes of Kashi was secluded and away from disturbing traffic sounds.

Location is deep in the lanes of Kashi. To reach, needs assistance. A Heads up by owner, in conversations prior to our visit, would have helped us.

Family run business, this place is indeed an oasis in the middle of a very busy Varanasi! I was treated like a family member, being offered to join in the meals with the family. They are very hospitable, the room was huge, very clean, air conditioned, good shower and toilet. Location is also very central, close to Nichibag market and the Ghats. Many shops around and the house is on a quiet and safe street that has a large school across the road, which is also run by the family, Mr Mehdi is the principal. He is so kind and helpful and has looked after me from the very first moment I came through the door. I definitely recommend staying here and this is where I will stay again when in Varanasi!
