About this house rental
Large home 300 yds from John Joseph pond and Buck's Pond. This home is ideal for families with children. There is a large fenced in yard, with a cedar playscape. The backyard is set up with a dining set and outdoor grill. There is also a large toy room attached to the family room stocked with toys. There is also a small coop with chickens you may collect you eggs for a fresh breakfast, or we have caretaker who will collect eggs every other day. There are pets that live here year round. The house is cleaned by a professional team.
This house is 2 miles from Nantucket Sound beaches and a supermarket. Only 300 yards to the freshwater of Buck's Pond and John Joseph Pond. There are many places to rent a canoe or kayak nearby. We are also located 2 miles from the center of Harwichport shops and restaurants and 3 miles from Downtown Chatham shops and restaurants. If you enjoy biking the Cape Cod Railtrail is a scenic ride. There is an entrance less than 2 miles away. The backyard is extremely private with a beautiful outdoor shower and fire pit to relax by after a day at the beach.
There are 2 queen size beds, 1, full size bed, 1 crib, 1 pack n play, and 2 twin air bed.

Awesome property, cute kitchen and yard. My 2 year old loved the playroom. Convenient to shops, Harwich port and Chatham. Sheep’s pond was awesome, happy to get there with our kids where my wife grew up going to. Our trip was cut short by some crazy tornados, but the owner was genuinely concerned and kept us updated with progress from the utility companies. Not much you can do about crazy weather but we had a great time nonetheless!

Negatives
Lack of air conditioning outside of bedrooms and inadequate fans for this time of year made for an uncomfortable indoors on a very warm July weekend .
Master bedroom had very bad smell that was difficult to mask
In master bath, hard to see yourself mirror over sink and no outlet to dry hair
Could’ve used more towels especially with lack of laundry facilities
Only one full bathroom indoors
Expensive cleaning charge for the property size
