Comfy, spacious, and near the beach. 10/10

Seems like a great place but it really is not.

The way the room was absolutely overfilled with furniture, nowhere to actually move. The bathroom smelled of damp. The towels and robes smelled of damp, they did not look clean and were worn out. The Owner was frankly quite rude, she came on the morning we were checking out and fairly kicked us out. She did not ask if everything had been ok, she just wanted to get ready for the next “clients” awful.

This is a great place in a great location and the host is very friendly on arrival and departure.

We drove elsewhere to get breakfast as we had plans for that day that involved us moving on quickly, but we very much appreciated the muffins and the coffee as a pre-breakfast starter. We were welcomed warmly on arrival by Izabela and saw her again the next morning when it was time to leave. In between, she left us alone, which is how we like it. The patio at the back is a great location to enjoy a glass of wine, and was nice and quiet.

Everything was great and I can't think of anything that didn't meet our expectations. So, nothing that we didn't like.

A perfect little oasis to escape to.

We had a lovely one-night stay at Sailaway, Izabela was friendly and gave us some wonderful recommendations of places to visit. After a long day walking around St Ives we hopped on one of the cheap, quick and frequent buses back and spent a perfect evening sitting on the patio by the fire and talking. The room was clean and comfortable and the fridge and microwave were a really useful touch (as were the complimentary welcome muffins on the tray of coffee and tea and everything else you could want).

Superb

The moment we pulled up, we knew we'd love our stay. So many special touches before you even enter the studio! The room was clean, comfortable and very chic. Vintage furniture adorning each corner of the room. Tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate and milk. There is a nice size fridge to keep drinks cool. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was spotless - it smelt sparkly clean. Bathrobes and towels are fluffy. The private patio with wood burner, cushions and blankets was lovely to chill out in the evening. Izabela was a great host and we look forward to returning. The free parking was great!

Lovely, quirky, compact, well equipped place with fantastic host

Such a lovely place, very quiet but well connected. Lots of attention to detail and cute decor, comfortable bed, exceptionally friendly and helpful host. Izabela has put so much thought into the place and provided literally everything we could possibly need, snacks, fresh milk and a lot of good recommendations for the area. There’s not that much going on in Carbis Bay but there’s a bus stop 5 mins from the house and you can get to all the surrounding towns from there, including St Ives which is less than a 10 mins ride.

The room is very compact and when you have bad weather like we did and can’t really use the beautiful large patio, it can become a bit too cozy.

Hidden gem

Spent 2 nights in this lovely beautifully decorated little self contained room with private bathroom and gorgeous patio area exclusively for our use. Lots of tea, coffee, cakes, crisps, milk, chocolates left in a mini fridge for us by the wonderful host Isabela. His and hers dressing gowns was a nice touch too. Comfortable bed. There were even chickens running round. 10 minute walk to Carbis Bay train station and bus stop for St Ives a 5 minute walk away. Tesco neaby too.

The fact we were moving on so couldnt stay longer sadly.

The location was great, we were attending a wedding at West Cornwall Golf Club and it was just a 5 minute drive. The instructions on how to find the property and get in were very clear from Izabela. Everything you could need need for a short stay😊

Lovely little place to stay for a short break

Great location, approximately 20 minute walk to St Ives or Carbis bay. Not far from bus route and local taxi service was efficient. Small self- contained room, quirky decor with basic amenities, opening out to lovely little courtyard with dining table/ seating area and fire pit, situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with parking. Izabela was lovely, we didn’t see her much during our stay although she was available if we needed anything.

The nicest pla e I've ever stayed

It was one of the cutest places I've ever stayed in my life! The room is small but comfy and nice, the bad was perfect. I even had a hairdryer in my room -- i didny have to ask for it separately! It has a nice outdoor terrace: the weather was awful and I regret I quitted smoking because I wasn't able to enjoy it. The breakfast was amazing. I never take the pics of my accommodation... but here I was unable to resist :)
