About this house rental

The Cottage House is centrally located close to library, various amenities and 1 1/2 miles from Riverfront activities. This 1930s built home has all manner of charm including hardwood floors, glass door knobs, tall ceilings and rounded entry ways. The kitchen has been recently remodeled with new appliances, cabinets and countertops. The upstairs bedroom is a large finished attic with its own heating and cooling system. We do welcome pets, but please ask about our pet policy before booking.

My sisters and I stayed here for an event at the convention center. We enjoyed it very much! We are all seniors so the steps to get in and out were a little challenging, and the stairs to the upper bedroom were also, but we managed it just fine. The house itself is very quaint and cozy and had everything we needed. Thr upstairs bedroom and playroom is so nice if you have children wit you. The location was great. We enjoyed it very much and highly recommend. Communication with the owner was exceptional!

Very clean place. As advertised. The only complaint I have is the streaming-only TV service which left the TV useless for us. All things considered, though, the Green Cottage still gets 5 stars.

We were in owensboro for a softball tournament and did not want to stay in another hotel. We wanted to be able to have space for five people. This house was amazing. The kids enjoyed it. They loved having space to themselves, especially my teenager who was playing in the tournament. We were able to cook our own food and not eat out every meal. Our stay was great and the house was wonderful. It made our trip so much better.

Green Garden Cottage is just as attractive as it appears in the pictures with plenty of room and everything up to modern standards. This is not one of those VRBOs that looks quaint but has bad plumbing. The bathroom and kitchen are small but recently remodeled and efficiently organized with everything in good working order. The cottage is stocked with all the essentials. I forgot my scissors for wrapping Christmas gifts but found a pair in the kitchen. The long driveway afforded enough off street parking for all our cars. Quiet neighborhood, good location near shopping and downtown. It was too cold too spend any time outdoors but there is a charming patio in the back. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage. It was close to KWC campus where our son attends school. We felt like we were at home and could relax with space to move around. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

Terrific instruction and communication from hosts. Everything we needed and even first aid kit for emergencies. Lights were on and appreciated when I arrived late at night. Great get away - close to most points of interest and restaurants in Owensboro.
