About this house rental
Ski-in/ski-out to all of Big Sky's 5800+ skiable terrain from this beautiful, luxury 4 bedroom/3.5 bathroom + Bonus Bunk Room, end unit, The Wolf's Den. The vistas will take your breath away as you watch the sunset over the Spanish Peaks from your own private hot tub.
The layout of this property insures comfort for everyone, with plenty of room to spread out, this townhome is 4 levels. The large, open, living room, is on the main level with a gas fireplace, beautiful hardwood floors, and excellent views. There are 2 decks off of this room with outdoor seating and a gas grill. The dining area is also open to this room and seats up to 10. The large kitchen is perfect for families or groups and for entertaining with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and all of your cooking needs!
Upstairs from the main floor, you will find a fabulous master suite with king bed, TV and private bath featuring a large tile shower with bench and granite counters.
Downstairs you will find Bedroom suite 2 with a queen bed, private bath, and TV. Bedroom 3 and 4 are also on this level with a full bath on the hallway. Bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds and bedroom 4 has a queen bed, both rooms have TV's. The bonus bunk room is only half a flight of stairs below this level with a set of twin bunk beds and TV (this is a completely private room).
The outdoor hot tub sits on the lower level deck and offers amazing privacy and unbeatable views. There are TV's in every room.
* Big Sky Resort officially opens for ski season the Wednesday before Thanksgiving Day. This property is ski-in/ski-out via the Iron Horse and Pony Express lifts. Early and late season ski access is condition dependent and may vary. All lift operations are completely at Big Sky Resort's discretion.

We’re a group of 8 college friends (all men) who have skied together for the past 20 years. As we’ve gotten older, we tend to stay at places that are ski in/out or are walkable to the slopes. In order to ski in/out here there needs to be snow on the road (which was not a problem). Even if there wasn’t, it’s maybe a 100 yard walk to the lift. The place was a bit tight for 8 dudes but we knew that going in. We thought it was worth the trade off of being close to the slopes. We didn’t use the top bunk in the bunk room. I think it would be difficult for adults to use. Great place and close to the slopes!

It was great.We needed more fuel for the grill they responded right away. Seemed very clean.Its not a true ski in ski out its about a 5 min. walk which was fine it wasn't uphill or anything. Would stay again.

Clean, good space (including living space), and nicely stocked for the week with the essentials (garbage bags, paper towels, toiletries -- total pain to have to buy all that for one week).Good fit for two families.EASY walk to the slopes and direct to lifts even for beginner skiers. Otherwise a short drive to Madison Base. Keep in mind that this is the Moonlight Basin side of Big Sky...nice and quiet, no lines (no hotels or mass development) BUT that also means you need to do some meal planning, since there are no restaurants there but for the Moonlight Lodge (which requires a visitor membership for the week and is not cheap). Just make sure to make reservations in advance for Big Sky or down in the Meadow and it isn't a problem. Also....Big Sky policy that you need to transport your garbage to a central collection point (5 min drive) due to wildlife issues. Not a problem, and the property managers will pick up if you are in a pinch.All in all, a real find and would stay there again.
