About this house rental
Welcome to our charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath home in beautiful Peninsula Point, just steps from the sand and the world-famous Wedge. With the beach less than 100 steps from your front door, this is the perfect place to slow down, enjoy the sunshine, and make wonderful Newport Beach memories with family and friends.
Our comfortably furnished home has everything you need for a relaxing beach getaway. Start your morning with coffee on the inviting front porch, come home from the beach for a quiet afternoon in the backyard, or gather around the fire pit in the evening. The private backyard is also perfect for a family barbecue, with both a gas grill and charcoal BBQ.
The kitchen is well equipped for everything from a quick breakfast before heading to the beach to a relaxed dinner at home. You’ll find a refrigerator, gas stove and oven, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and grinder, crock pot, blender, and dishwasher.
For a little downtime, the living room and primary bedroom each have a flat-screen Smart TV. And because family vacations are so much easier when the little things are taken care of, we’ve included a high chair, porta-crib, toddler bed rail, and plastic dishes for young children.
There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained, including bikes, board games, beach equipment, and beach toys. Just grab your swimsuit, hop on a bike, and enjoy everything that makes Newport Beach so special.
One of the wonderful things about staying in Peninsula Point is having both the ocean and the bay close by. The famous Wedge is just around the corner, while the calm waters of the Bay Beach are only about a three-block walk from the house — a great option for little ones or anyone who prefers a peaceful swim without the waves.
When you’re ready to explore, the Fun Zone is just a short and easy walk or bike ride away. Rent a boat or paddle board, head out on a fishing expedition, take the ferry over to Balboa Island, grab an ice cream, or enjoy one of the many nearby restaurants.

My beach home is perfectly positioned for guests who want to experience the excitement of the 2028 LA Olympics while enjoying the relaxed charm of Newport Beach.
Just a 55-minute drive away, Long Beach will be one of the largest Olympic event hubs outside Los Angeles, hosting 11 events including Beach Volleyball, the Marathon, Artistic Swimming, Triathlon, Sport Climbing, Water Polo, Handball, Target Shooting, and maritime competitions such as Canoeing, Rowing, and Sailing.
And for those who love the ocean, San Clemente is just a 50-minute drive away and will host the spectacular Olympic Surfing competitions.

We loved this cute little house! We were there with another couple for three nights and you can't beat the location. The kitchen is well-equipped and the host left us a few treats, which was a nice touch. We didn't have enough time to use all the beach supplies, but the bikes were great. Check-in was easy and the host was responsive and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

This little beach house is truly perfect! It’s adorable, clean, well stocked, great (and I do mean great) location, and a super sweet and responsive host. This house has everything you need. Kate has thought of it all. We appreciated the welcome snacks, the bikes and beach gear, the fire pit, quick beach access…all perfect. We had the best time in this little paradise. We will be returning again in the future for sure!

Everything was amazing. From the amenities to the location to the nice quiet neighbourhood. Our family had an incredible time and will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a vacation home in SoCal this is an excellent spot. Thank you for such a pleasant vacation.

This cute little beach house had a lot of good about it, but it also needs some TLC. We loved the location, in a beautiful neighborhood close to a quiet part of the beach. We also loved having the bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas to use and the front porch was lovely each morning. The host was kind and generous. The house itself is in need of care. The master bed was horrific. The mattress itself was not comfortable and much too soft and each time myself or my husband would move in the bed, it would wobble and squeak. We got very little sleep in that bed. It was so bad that we ended up sleeping in the twin beds after the first night, which was certainly not ideal. The second night, the twin bed I stayed in was not clean, I'll spare the details, we cleaned it but it made for another rough night. There are several places throughout the house that need some love and look worn out or were fixed in haphazard ways. I realize this cute little house has been rented for over twenty years, so wear and tear is normal. I just wish I had been able to read a review that gave a genuine picture of what the house itself was like inside. So, here's that review. Cute house, but in need of some TLC after 20 years of renting.
