About this house rental
Totally unique design. Great for get togethers. Multi level home on water. Best location on the lake. Private wooded homesite on peninsula road near dam. Gorgeous great room (almost 2000 square foot itself with fireplace), 3 glass garage doors leading to porch deck, huge kitchen, pool table room, hot tub, decking throughout. Overlooks Smith Mountain. You can bring your own boat and tie it to our floater. Very high speed internet (300mbps)

What a fun house! We had lots of room to spread out. While the bedrooms were small for the size of the house it didn’t matter much as we only ever used them for sleeping. Our families had a great time boating, tubing, floating, fishing, playing games and exploring the area. We saved three baby birds that fell out of their nest from the chimney - such a fun story to tell! The kitchen was great for cooking meals, the covered porch was relaxing in the evening, and the dock was perfect for morning coffee. We realized we were on the quiet side of the lake which was great but it took some time to get to groceries. Dale was amazing at communicating with us and making sure we were all comfortable.

This was truly the coolest house on SML! Great views, intriguing designs and art work, cove was private, perfect for fishing, swimming and docking a boat. Great family memories.

This is an incredibly unique home -- the kitchen > great room is one of the best entertaining spaces I have ever seen! From the 50+ foot stacked stone fireplace, to the eating area "overlook", to the three automated garage doors that lead out to the deck overlooking the lake... It was a fantastic choice! The hot tub was ready to go and the owner took our experience to a whole new level when we opened the "Welcome Note" to find out that there was a Boston Butt smoking on the green egg on the deck outside!!! This was a fantastic experience -- I highly recommend it!
