About this house rental
This beautifully designed beach cottage is a very short walk to the sugary white sands and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. From the tower, you can enjoy views of the gulf and amazing sunsets. Summers Edge is a gated, beachside community on the southside of 30A. There are two private pools, one heated and one infinity. It is family friendly, perfect for bike riding for the kids and adults. You will also be close to Eastern Lake to enjoy the magic of the coastal dune lakes. Don't forget your nets and buckets!
This peaceful beach home has an open kitchen, dining and family room with a new flat screen TV on the first floor. It is great for two families and entertaining. Also located on the first floor are two bedrooms, one queen and one with twin beds, along with a full bath. There are French doors that open to a large front porch that is perfect for dining, swinging and watching the kids play. A white picket fence totally surrounds the yard for the younger ones and there is an outdoor shower area and grilling area on the side of the house. Parking is available for three cars.
The upstairs consists of a very serene master suite complete with a tub and full shower. French doors again open to a large second floor deck that leads up to the third floor tower. A perfect place to start the day with a cup of coffee and end the day with a beverage and the sunset. There is also a kids bunkroom with flat screen TV and bathroom on the second floor.

We had a great stay at this beautiful beach house.The beach was a short walk and also quaint shops and restaurants were within walking distance as well. Vanessa was a wonderful host. She was there when we needed any assistance or had any questions. We will be back for sure!!

We enjoyed our short visit down to the Gulf. The house is very nice and clean. Very quiet street with lots of trees for shade. The listing includes "private pool" so we were a little disappointed to discover the 2 pools we could access were not on the property but across the street and closed at 10 PM- other than that everything was great.

Great communication with property manager. Throughly cleaned. Very well stocked. As another review stated, no tents/canopies on the beach.

Check in time states 3pm, but we had to wait until 5pm, because renters before us trashed the house. After I spoke with the host, her response was, “I won’t rent to them again.” Why is that my problem? I feel I should have been compensated. Coffee maker did not keep coffee hot—this day in age should have a Keurig. Water filter in frig needed changing, no propane grill and backyard not suitable for anyone—let alone dogs.
Pool down the street was ok, the beach access was a joke!—If you don’t rent beach chairs/umbrellas from a local rental agency—good luck finding a spot on the beach, even at 8:30 am. I specifically ask the host if there was a beach wagon there at the house and she said, “yes”—there was not! Lastly, house next to us was being painted(exterior), the one painter had such a foul loud mouth constantly swearing!! Had to listen to that for 2wks.
