Great place, kept my boat at the dock behind the house and only had a short run to world class tarpon fishing.

Bokeelia is an escape from the craziness, traffic & overdevelopment of the rest of coastal florida! The place is quiet, peaceful and had everything we needed to live comfortably for a month. Loved having the canal right there with dolphin and Manatees swimming by!!

The location is excellent for fishing trips out to all the great snook, trout, Tarpon and Red fishing around Bokeelia. We wore ourselves out on snook and Trout. The boat ramp is steps away and super convenient. You have to watch the tides a little given the max depth of the boat lift but we never had a day that we couldn't safely operate the lift. The channel itself is plenty deep for a bay boat.
The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the bikes were great. The place is perfect for 2 to 3 people. More than 4 would be too many. If you need a few pool days there is a really great community pool 6 miles away. All in all a great little house. We would love to go back.
