About this apartment rental

Our hotel-style room accommodates a maximum of 4 people and is conveniently located within the Village at Northstar (Timbercreek Lodge Building). Northstar-at-Tahoe is the most complete summer and winter destination resort located in the picturesque Sierra Nevada Mountains. Our rental includes parking permit, departure cleaning and access to the recreation center (including spa, tennis, swimming, gym, and game room).

WINTER activities at Northstar include the new Lookout Mountain offering acres of new terrain for skiers and snowboarders including a Terrain Park and Super Pipe. There is a cross-country center, snow tubing parks, snowshoeing trails, restaurants, bars, retail shops, equipment rental shops, and licensed daycare. In the winter the recreation center offers the spa, Jacuzzi, game room, gym, lap pool, and library.

SUMMER activities include a champion 18 hole golf course and golf pro with shuttle bus available from Village, tennis day and night, tennis pro available for lessons, mountain bike trails including chair lift to take you to the top, equestrian center with great trails for horseback riding, and NEW Skating Rink. Lap pool and junior Olympic-size swimming pool, kids camp, play area gym, and game room all within the recreation center just a few steps away from the studio. Restaurants, deli, farmers market on weekends, and scheduled entertainment are all available in the village during the summer. You are only six miles from Lake Tahoe where you can find boating, jet skiing, parasailing, kayaking, shopping, and sightseeing activities.

About this apartment rental

Our hotel-style room accommodates a maximum of 4 people and is conveniently located within the Village at Northstar (Timbercreek Lodge Building). Great location if you're skiing or riding at Northstar, obviously. Reasonably priced as well, which is probably the biggest selling point for this property. Unfortunately though, the property is in need of a refresh. Cracked tabletop on the balcony, leaking mixer valve on the bathroom sink, visible dirt throughout, and linens on the beds that are clearly very old. The mattresses also seemed pretty old, though were comfortable enough and we all slept well.

The place was exactly what we expected. The location and parking was incredibly convenient. We loved the fridge, microwave and disposable utensils to help us make use of our leftovers. The balcony provided an easy and quick place for the kids to play in the snow and parents to have a drink (as there was leftover snow from last week’s storm). We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our time at this cozy studio. Amazing location for skiing at Northstar with all the amenities needed to make the stay more enjoyable. We took a mid morning break from skiing, stopped at the studio to put our gloves on the glove warmers, put on our shoes, take a bathroom break. Super convenient!

It was our first time skiing at Northstar, and we had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect for ski-in, ski-out access, making it incredibly convenient. The room was cozy and stayed warm even without the heater, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the wait times at the on-site village restaurants were incredibly long—over two hours for dinner—or they were fully booked during our stay. We were glad we brought our own food.

You can’t beat this location. It was an easy walk to the gondola. The market with coffee and homemade food is right outside the building. It was definitely nice to have a deck to enjoy the warm spring weather.

This is one of the small apartments right across from the deli in the Northstar Village. Literally a 4 minute walk in ski boots to the gondola. Two beds, TV, bathroom, coffee making equipment and a fridge. No frills, but super cosy, comfy and extremely clean. The owner was prompt and the checkin instructions were perfect and timely (they put them in the chat, so look for them there). Would tay again anytime.

Our stay at this condo was nothing short of amazing! The location couldn't have been better—it's right in the middle of Northstar Village and just steps away from the gondola. The convenience factor alone made our trip so much smoother. Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. They were incredibly responsive and accommodating, which made us feel well taken care of. What really stood out was how the super host helped us navigate a snowstorm during our visit. Great location, had everything we needed in the room. We went to Raileys up the road and bought meals we could eat out the fridge or microwave. Our rental EV charged up right across from the assigned parking space which was right below the room. That was so convenient. TV was HD and all channels came in clear.

We rented a large, beautiful home for our four kids, their four spouses/partners, and our four grandsons in Northstar, but the home only slept 12 (and we were a party of 14). So my wife and I rented Kristi’s studio for the two of us, and it was perfect! Now that there is some serious snow at Northstar, we will try to rent Kristi’s place again in the coming weeks/months!

The location was the best. Can't get any better than this. The owner/manager? was very very nice when I talked to her on the phone and allowed us to park our car in the parking lot and to check in from early morning since there was no one staying the night before. I did not expect that and that made things so much easier for us. Thank you, thank you!! The cleanness of the bathroom needed some attention but overall stay was good and it was nice to have ski racks in the room so we didn't have to spend money on overnight storage.

Property being painted while we were there. Painters on our deck, taping, plastic, painting our deck while we were there. Plastic put over intake to AC making it inoperable. Stay was a disaster. Owner should not have rented property during this time
