Casa Puig Rom 45 Roses - Immo Barneda

Location was absolutely superb, only a street or two back from lovely plazas and the old town restaurants.

It was in the middle of a heatwave, as you might expect. We knew there would be no Aircon and that was ok. But the upper floor of the property is very poorly insulated from the roof above and was always sweltering by the afternoon and into the evening. The property is nice and dark and it's easy to prevent heat entering from windows, since there are good shutters. But it's impossible to control the roof. This made it a bit of a battle to make it comfortable enough for the kids and adults to sleep. For the final two nights we even moved beds downstairs, where it was cool and had lovely nights in the dining room.
