Head to the beach and relax in my rustic pine cabin decorated in a lodgy style bear and moose theme. Great location just 2 short miles south of Seaside and 4 miles north of Cannon Beach on a 4 acre wooded property with a large koi pond and creek. The cabin is located just a 1/2 mile off of Hwy 101 with no through traffic. You are literally 5 minutes to the beach in either direction. This was the house I grew up in as a child. It has been remodeled by yours truly. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, there are 2 kings and 2 queens plus 2 roll up foam pads for the kids. The property is dog friendly. The kitchen has a large, open layout with rustic hickory cabinets, pebble tile back splash, matching dinnerware and new appliances and is well stocked with everything you would need as far as pots, pans, utensils, mixing bowls, storage bowls, crock pots, coffee pot, toaster, electric mixer, griddle, blender, food processor, a large microwave and a beverage cooler. The dining table has 2 leaves that allow for seating of 10 people. The living room has a 55 inch smart TV with all the cable channels and over 100 D.V.D. movies. There is another TV in the master bedroom if you want to use that one for gaming or DVD's. There is high speed wireless internet and great cell service anywhere on the property. There is 1 large bathroom with a shower/ tub combo. There are plenty of towels, soap and toilet paper and shampoo, conditioner and bodywash are also supplied. For your convenience there is a new large capacity washer and dryer onsite and lots of extra parking on the property. Plenty of room for a boat, horse trailer or an RV if you are traveling through. The deck is 1200 square feet and overlooks the pond and the creek. It has lights that hang all the way around the deck that come on at dusk. For your outdoor entertainment there is a fire pit with 10 adirondack chairs, large propane barbecue and cooler to take to the beach as well as a picnic table. There is a corn hole bean bag game for the deck. Throw some fresh seafood or steaks on the BBQ and enjoy a a glass of wine while watching the sun set over Tillamook Head. There is dry firewood at no extra charge. Bring the kid's bikes, they will have room to ride it and you can also bring the dogs. The deck has 2 gates that can be closed off to keep small children and pets inside and away from the pond. Close enough to the beach but away from the downtown noise and tourist traffic. Cullaby Lake, Coffenbury Lake, Young's River Falls, The Big O Saloon, Relief Pitcher Sports Bar, Short Sands Beach ,t he Peter Iredale shipwreck, Astor Column are just a few things you may want to check out. Captain Kid amusement park is just up the road and downtown Seaside has a tilt a whirl ride, bumper cars and a large arcade with Fultanos pizza inside. There are chartered deep sea fishing and crabbing excursions or you can go clam digging when the season is open. For all you shoppers there is a factory outlet mall and lots of tourist shops on Broadway in Seaside and Cannon Beach. Costco, Fred Meyer and Walmart are only 15 miles away and there is a Safeway in Seaside. Some of the special events are Wheels of Waves Muscle car show, Memorial weekend, Mother's day weekend, Father's day weekend, graduation weekend, Miss Oregon pageant week, 4th of July week with fireworks at the beach, dance competition week, Soccer on the beach, Corgi day on the beach, Sandcastle contest in Cannon Beach, bike ( motorcycle week), Buoy 10 fishing season, Professional Volleyball weekend, Hood to Coast weekend, Labor Day weekend, roadster car show or just a family getaway to make memories at the Seaside beach.
