About this house rental
This is our own home away from home and has everything you're looking for in a mountain getaway. This log cabin style home was built in 2004 with boundless charm and ambiance. The main floor has an open floor plan, great for family gatherings with an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen, dining area and living room. A 1/2 bath is located off the kitchen. The first floor large master bedroom has a queen bed, walk-in closet and its own private full bath attached with a whirlpool tub/shower. Upstairs is a loft for additional sleeping space or for the kids to play, a 2nd large bedroom with a queen bed, and a 3rd bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. A full bath with a bathtub/shower is located upstairs as well. The wraparound deck is spacious and the perfect evening gathering place for stargazing and storytelling. Countless hiking trails are nearby, including some within the neighborhood. The ski lifts at the base of Peak 9 are only a 7-8 minute drive away. Free parking at the Ice Rink is less than 7 minutes away (with quick shuttle buses to each of the bases), and the main parking lots for the gondola are 10 minutes.
In 2020, we removed our VRBO listing due to increased listing costs and instead listed exclusively with that other vacation rental site (where we still have our cabin listed). This is a really nice cabin in a great location. Easy to get to and access to the world class skiing/snowboarding we were after. It easily handled our crew of 8 adults.
The living areas were very comfortable and clean. The owner was a delight to deal with and responded fully to all our inquires.
The kitchen was well stocked and roomy to work in. The appliances were all in clean working condition and the gas cook top was a treat since we like to cook.
The listing descriptions are all very accurate and the pricing was fair and reasonable for the market. We would quickly book this cabin again!
