About this house rental
This unique property is a quick 1/2 mile walk by road to the gorgeous, family-friendly Goose Rocks Beach. Or at low tide one can reach the beach in 1/4 mile walking up the tidal river. This house is tucked away at the quiet end of a private lane with an ocean view, large yard and access to a pristine tidal river (The Little River).
This is a vacation home fully equipped including bikes, kayaks, canoe, outdoor shower, beach chairs and toys. All you have to do is apply your own sunscreen.
One special joy of this property is how the scenery changes by the hour as the tidal river ebbs and flows, offering a distinct connection to nature. When the tide is out, one can easily walk across the river bank to the Timberpoint Trail, part of the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge.
In addition to the summer, the shoulder seasons of June and September, as well as the Thanksgiving and December holidays are great times to enjoy the quieter side of this community. We are renting year round, so there's no time like the present to come enjoy a home that's been in our family for over 20 years. This place abounds with good energy and is ready to provide many lasting memories for you and yours.

The place was really good. There were tons of provided amenities - my kids lived the ping pong table and darts. My oldest's allergies ramped up when he was in the basement bedroom, so we brought those mattresses upstairs for the kids. There was a continuous dehumidifier running, so the owners are doing their best, it just must have been a damp week. Even still Id recommend the place. It's very clear these guys are trying to provide not just a rental, but an actual vacation. There were tons of bikes to choose from, kayaks, a canoe, a propane grill - and we enjoyed it all. And the beach was great. We didn't have any luck fishing, but the kids definitely enjoyed the water!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Granite Point, primarily because of its close proximity to Goose Rocks Beach. We were grateful for the bikes provided, which made it easy to go back and forth to the beach, general store, again to the beach to watch the sunset... The view from the house was lovely, and the house itself was very comfortable and provided everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy our evenings together as a family.

Granite Point was a great place to rent. Modern kitchen, great yard, all the toys you could ever need! Easy bike to the beach - if you are planning to go farther afield (Cape Porpoise/Kennebunkport/Biddeford Pool), recommend bringing your own bikes though. We really appreciated that the kayaks and bikes and paddle board were available for our use while we were there. The large yard with firepit made for some fun evenings.
