About this apartment rental
The rental space occupies the lower beach level of this beautiful European Lodge style home on the lake at the end of Finley Point . It features sweeping views of Flathead Lake, the Mission Mountains, Wild horse Island, and the Bird Islands. This 1700+ sq. ft. space features two lakeside bedrooms and two full baths/showers with the ability to sleep four. The two bedroom space includes a cozy media room with wood burning fireplace, private outdoor stone patio with gas grill/comfy seating and just a few steps to about 1000 ft of private shoreline featuring a secluded pebbled cove.
**(There is an option to rent an additional 600 sq. ft. third bedroom for two additional guests with lake view, full bath/shower, kitchenette, walk-in closet, and seating area. This bedroom will not be rented separately.)
The property includes a tennis court with basketball hoop and table and chairs, 2 lakeside decks, 2 lake view patios, private forested 10 acres with orchard and miles of walking, running and biking opportunities on Finley Point. It is approximately 10 min. drive to two of Polson's best restaurants, a 20 minute drive to Polson, 45 minutes to Bigfork, 60 minutes to Kalispell, and 90 minutes to Whitefish or Glacier National Park. This truly unique property is shared with homeowners occupying the upper level and is impeccably decorated in European lodge style. The rental space is accessed through separate entrances requiring a walk down a stone path. Please see photos for images of the path as it is not well suited for those with limited mobility. The quoted rate is only for rental of the two bedroom space and will be adjusted upward accordingly if the additional third bedroom suite is added. Contact owner for details on renting the third ensuite bedroom and bath.

Whether you're looking for a private romantic getaway, nonstop family fun, or a couples' reunion, this is it. As hosts we love the unique privacy and character our property has and our guests over the years seem to agree.

Bob and Barb are wonderful hosts, ensuring eveything worked well, providing advice and ideas. The place was very clean and larger / more accommodating than anticipated. Wildlife was abundant from waterfowl and deer to the bear we sighted coming up the road to the location. We will definitely be coming back!

This is a breathtakingly beautiful property with a delightfully decorated home, views fit for paintings practically everywhere you look, outdoor activities galore, and all the amenities needed for deep rest and relaxation. Add to all of this the warm hospitality of Barb and Bob, and you have a recipe for the perfect vacation.A few words about the property (which pictures cannot do justice): The home has highground to each side, and the private cove is flanked with outcrops and cliffs, providing privacy and a feeling of seclusion. This sets a tone that affects everything about the stay. The apartment is on the lower level of the main home and is decorated exquisitely. Everything is high-quality—from the tiling to the furniture to the electronics. The stone stairs from the apartment to the water wind through a lush garden and end at a waterside wooden deck with driftwood furniture. (The furniture was handcrafted by Barb and Bob and is as comfortable as it is beautiful.)The multicolored pebble beach ramps gently into crystal-clear water. The 15-foot cliff to the right is situated perfectly for jumping into the lake—and for watching fiery sunsets. Kayaks are at the ready for paddling along the shoreline or out to 6 little islands in the near distance.Paddling to the islands takes 10 or 15 minutes. Each island has its own, unique character—and one houses a massive bald eagles’ nest atop its largest tree. Eagles soar the sky regularly, and often bicker with Ospreys in the treetops above the cove.In addition to all of that, the property has walking trails, pear orchards, a tennis court, a basketball court, and more.We could go on. But the above paints a general picture of the property and the kind of vacation it affords. Suffice it to say that this was one of the most enjoyable, most rejuvenating vacations we’ve ever taken. We’ll be back as often as we can manage.Thank you, Barb and Bob, for creating this little Heaven on Earth—and for being such kind and accommodating hosts!
