About this apartment rental
First floor entire 2-bedroom apartment newly updated with classic decor and accents. Modern bath and kitchen with complete utensils. Wi-Fi and 6 wired gigabit network ports. Two TVs with FIOS service. Appropriate for business traveler, families with older children. Living and dining room great for small family gatherings 8-10 people. Convenient to downtown, Oakland/Universities. Across street parking. Nearby restaurant/stores and park in walking distance. No per-person or amenities charges.

Access up 5 steps to front door, all on one level. Arrive and enjoy a drink at in the dining room at the complimentary bar with basics, no extra charge. Bedrooms have queen and full size beds. Extra sheets and towels in bathroom linen closet as well as cleaning supplies and iron/board. Large dining room table adjacent to living room is ideal work area for business traveler. Kitchen with full set of dishes, pots, utensils. Hot water heat, air conditioning unit in dining room/living room area and master bedroom. 24 hour street parking is available directly across the street, restricted on building side.

Full access to apartment. Also access to basement laundry area - pay washer/dryer as well as large laundry tubs.

You host lives three doors away, feel free to call anytime if there is an issue or if you need local information or suggestions. Your comfort and enjoyment is a priority without being intrusive. Neighborhood overview
The apartment is located in the Regent Square area of Pittsburgh, adjacent to Frick Park. A small, vibrant business district is approximately 4 blocks away featuring several good restaurants. Approximately 1 mile away is a shopping plaza and supermarket. In the other direction approximately 4 blocks away is a drug store. The Frick art and Historical mansion/museum is nearby.
Getting around
By car the apartment is about 20 minutes from downtown, 15 minutes from Oakland/university/hospitals and 8 minutes from Squirrel Hill. There is a bus stop at the corner with 3 routes operating roughly every 15 or so minutes to easily use public transport to get to Squirrel Hill, Oakland or downtown. The apartment is approximately 1.5 miles off of the expressway exit (I-376), approximately 25 miles from the airport.
Other things to note
This is a first floor apartment; there are two other units in the building. Quiet for the most part with normal muffled noise from other tenants. Street is busy but apartment extremely quiet, virtually no outside noise heard especially in bedrooms.

Our host Jon was outstanding. We were so impressed with all the amenities. Jon thought of everything one would possibly need when staying away from home. The place is cozy, clean and comfortable with decor that gives a French American feel. We enjoyed walks through the park and the lovely eateries within walking distance.

My wife and I travel extensively and prefer rental properties over hotel rooms. I must say this is the best stay we have ever had. The accommodations are splendid! Our host Jon put so much care and love in to this immaculate home. We were pleased to be welcomed with candy and champagne upon arrival. As we explored the property we found the home was decorated with carefully curated antiques, rugs, and art. To top it off the home was completely stocked with complimentary food and drinks. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we left entirely delighted.

I have provided many 5-star reviews in the past and I truly wish I could take them all back because THIS PROPERTY IS BEYOND a 5-star stay! OUr host was very communicative, offered his knowledge of the area and made fanatastic recommendations for places to eat nearby. The property was well-stocked, warm inviting and our host went above and beyond by providing snacks, beverages, breakflast and dinner itesm at no extra charge. This is a beautifully maintained home that will be our first choice next time we visit Pittsburgh!
