Stayed 3 days Newberg. Close to wineries we scheduled in the valley. House was as pictured and perfect for our trip with another couple. Walked to dinner every night. Few restaurants were open during our stay Mon-Wed. Went to Rosmarino Osteria was excellent, be sure to make a reservation! Also went to a scratch bakery and social goods for beer in town. Cute town a little quiet after Labor Day.

Came up to Newberg to spend Thanksgiving with our George Fox student. Glad we came up a few days early so I could figure out the stove/oven (YouTube had great instructional videos). It was the perfect size for the three of us! Quiet neighborhood but parking was sometimes a challenge. There’s a public lot around the corner, though, but when you have a carload of groceries, the lot’s not the best option. My suggestion for future guests who stay in the Fall/Winter (who come from warmer climates than the Pacific NW) is to pack some throw blankets for when you’re watching tv on the couch. I would have loved a blanket. I like cooking on vacations so I found the kitchen utensils a bit lacking, but Fred Meyer is just up the street and they have everything. If you plan to cook, do yourself a favor and check out the pantry (under the microwave)—there’s some stuff that other renters have left, but it might not be what you need or it might be just what you need. But check expiration dates! The host supplies flour, sugar, brown sugar, coffee, espresso, teas and salt/pepper. I left a supply of ziplocs, cling wrap, foil, etc. for the next residents to find. Hope the next renters enjoyed the house as much as we did!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The host had great recommendations for places to eat, things to do and tasting rooms to visit. She was very responsive and accommodating. The place was clean and perfectly appointed. Check in and check out was hassle free. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay! The guest house was very clean and had everything we needed. Location was perfect - we walked to the Coffee Cat each morning, and ate at Old Towne and Forage, both walkable. Check out couldnt have been easier. Definitely recommend!

We rented the cottage while we were visiting the area for a friend’s wedding. The cottage is absolutely adorable and charming. Walking distance to food trucks, coffee shops, wine cellars. Beds were comfortable, kitchen fully stocked, the rental was cozy and clean. Enjoyed having my coffee in the backyard and early morning sun on the front steps. I wish there had been directions for the espresso maker. I love espresso but don’t know how to use one so never got the chance nor wanted to make the effort to figure out ( without directions) how to use the cute one they had there.

The cool AC temperature inside felt glorious after being out in the summer sunshine (which also felt glorious) for the lavender festivals in the area. The internet connection was fast. Be cautious of the 8:06 AM and 10:06 water sprinklers! They spray out to the backyard tables and chairs and will soak them well. I jumped through and saved my book and coffee off the table! The flowers and yard are gorgeous and the honeysuckle smells divine though. We both slept solid as could be in each of the bedrooms I would absolutely stay here again. Loved it!

We had a lovely time at this cute cottage in Newburg. It was super close to all the wineries and restaurants we went to and walking distance to coffee shops and cafes. We loved the patio and ease of checking in and out. We hope to be back ❤️

This little cottage was the perfect home-base for our George Fox University graduation weekend. The location is perfect for both the campus and downtown shops, coffeehouses, and restaurants. We had everything we needed for a wonderful visit.

Cute little house with old charm! Perfect for 2 people, max 4 (only 1 shower) otherwise the house was big enough for 4 comfortably. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms equipped with all your needs. Kitchen was fully stocked as well (minus wine 😉) Felt safe in the neighborhood and walking distance to restaurants, bars and a couple tasting rooms was great! Parking was a little difficult, as there is only street parking. Jessica promptly answered the phone when we had questions! Would totally stay here again! Would love to try the Painted Lady next door, but was pretty pricey for our budget.

The 4 of us in our family came from California, Texas & Minnesota to be a part of our son’s graduation from George Fox and this was the perfect place for us to hang out. It was quiet, close to town & we felt right at home (loved the inside and the backyard). The owners were helpful as one night we needed assistance with the gas stove & they came right over.The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is I think they could use new mattress as our beds were not comfortable for us -other than that loved everything else about it.

My husband and I stayed at The Painted Lady Guest Cottage during our visit to the Willamette Valley and were so glad we did! The cottage is wonderfully comfortable and we had absolutely everything we needed to feel like we were home. Being next door to The Painted Lady Restaurant was a definite plus and at least one dinner there is a must. Trips to various wineries were easy due to the convenient location. We had a great time and would definitely recommend staying at the Cottage to anyone who will be in the area.

A perfectly appointed "cottage", next door to far and away the best restaurant in the area. Located only a block from downtown Newberg, the Painted Lady Guest Cottage is wonderfully appointed, and much bigger than we expected. We spent the afternoon walking around the downtown, before having dinner next door at The Painted Lady. The night ended sitting outside by the fire pit sipping cognac. I couldn't recommend it more.

Plans for a return trip prompted this long over due review. We stayed in this charming cottage with friends while we toured Oregon wine country. Four of us stayed in the cottage and there were 8 in our group. Everyone loved having the cottage be our gathering spot. We would convene here to start the day, relax in the afternoon, have drinks before dinner & grill in the backyard. The cottage was clean and inviting. The bedrooms were separated by several rooms so there was plenty of privacy. We liked that the cottage was in easy walking distance to the local shops, restaurants and tasting rooms. In addition to entertaining in the backyard, we were just steps away from The Painted Lady Restaurant. Staying at the cottage and having dinner at this amazing restaurant should go hand in hand. We are looking forward to our next stay!

What a good time we had staying at the Painted Lady Cottage. Fortunately our stay coincided with an early crush in 2014 which made the stay even more exciting. The accommodations at the cottage were most relaxing, in a great area not to mention one of the best meals ever next door at the Painted Lady! The yard in back of the cottage was most conducive to friends visiting and picnicking. The interaction with the owners was also quite enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and experience this wonderful cottage in the beautiful and friendly town of Newberg, OR. Just superb!
