About this apartment rental

Our 4th Floor Gulf View, Poolside Condo has the best view of the 6,000 square foot Lagoon Pool at High Pointe and the Gulf beyond. Big view of the Gulf over the Pool and Crabby Steves!

January 2026, we blocked off the remainder of the winter to tear out the the old bathrooms to make the new again. While we were at, why not tear out and raise the ceilings, replace the trim and a new paint job. Pics Coming Soon!

Sip your morning coffee on the balcony as SoWal wakes up and the pool comes to life. Head out to the soft white sands for a morning stroll or pick out your umbrella and chair for the day. As lunch time approaches head up to the condo for a sandwich and relax on the balcony while keeping an eye on the kids enjoying the pool and waterfalls.

As the day heats up take a short walk to the Sugar Shack in Rosemary Beach for an ice cream or a mid day iced coffee. Treat the kids to a toy at GiGi's. Return to your umbrella and enjoy magic hour as the sun glistens on top of the ocean waves. When everyone is ready retreat back to the condo to freshen up for the evening.

Dinner time. Walk to Wild Olives in Rosemary Beach and enjoy a casual dinner with your favorite wine. As sunset time approaches head down to the board walk for a toast to a beautiful SoWal sunset. You have just experienced a day at High Pointe.

Host was responsive which was appreciated. Location is excellent and the beach and water were perfect. We did not use the pool. Condo was clean and had a great amount of space, but the listing focuses a lot on updates that were 10 years ago. There were lots of dings and scuffs, kitchen drawer that didn’t close all the way, master bath shower very outdated and looks like there was some work done around a window in the kitchen that was just primed and not finished. A fresh coat of paint would go a long way to helping the condo feel like the listing coveys. We were disappointed in a few things that would be easy fixes - some beach towels for renters to use would be appreciated! A small cooler to be able to use for the beach would be amazing. There was only enough laundry detergent for 2 loads. The value unfortunately wasn’t there - we did not feel like we got what we payed for at 590 per night (family of 4).

We had a nice stay at High Pointe. The location is fantastic! Walking distance to Rosemary. We loved the live music across the street and the pool and beach were amazing. Frank was very nice and responded quickly. The size of the condo is nice, beds are comfortable (not the top bunks according to my kids), view is beautiful. However, the condo needs some TLC. It was as pictured, but there were stains on the dining room chairs, bath tub is very old and stained, crumbs in the drawers of the kitchen, dishes need to be updated/replaced, a fishy smell in the refrigerator, and the front windows appear to have had work done on them but not completed. The cleaning crew did an average job. We loved it, but wouldn't stay there again until it was updated or at least taken better care of. If you're a college kid on spring break, this is the place for you. If you are an adult with a family, you expect more for this kind of money.

Loved the property and location. Great view, easy access to beach, Crabby Steves, beach wasn't ever really crowded (especially compared to just down beach), just across from pedlers, and short walk to rosemary shops/restaurants. Also, Frank was super responsive. What's not to love!

First off, the outside property was being renovated. Our condo windows were taped off and equipment was noisy our whole stay. We felt like that should have been told to us before booking. The condo itself was not clean. Sand was everywhere, dirty dishes and dirty bathrooms. Not pleased with the overall stay.

Our family had a wonderful time at High Pointe for Memorial Day! It’s a perfect way to kick off the summer together with Crabby Steve’s, the on site pool, and private beach access. We also enjoy being able to walk across the street for ice cream or down the street into Rosemary. This is a very convenient and fun spot. Our host was very easy to communicate with and the unit was exactly as described. It has a truly spectacular view of the pool and ocean.

Overall, I was very pleased with my stay here. The check-in process had a small hiccup with the door code not working, but a quick phone call and it was sorted out. The unit was clean and furnished well. The master bed was quite comfortable. The view was stellar, and we spent every evening on the patio drinking wine and watching the sunset after the kiddo went to sleep. The location was excellent and just a short walk to restaurants and bars. My only complaint would be the lack of tissue boxes. The oaks are in full pollen season right now, and there was a lot of nose-blowing going on. So Kleenex would have been nice. That is pretty minor, though. I have every intention of staying here again. 10 out of 10.

This property is an ideal location! Loved that bikes could be rented on property, having Crabby Steve's on site, and the beach chairs - it was heavenly not to have to drag something to the beach each day. The resort had quite a bit of construction going on - updates and maintenance and I get this needs to happen. But it was dusty and loud during the day. In addition, the pump in the pool closed on our second to last day. Again, this happens but a bummer the entire pool area was closed. Owner was extremely responsive and attentive. Would recommend for a family stay. But these wrist bands are no joke! Figure out a solution so your family can keep track of them.

Location was amazing! Walking distance to everything. The resort was so well maintained and manicured. Beach water and pool beautiful! The condo beds were very comfortable! Kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies. The condo could use a deep clean and coat of paint. Microwave and garbage disposal not working, but the owner communicated this.

Frank's condo was a perfect fit for our family vacation. It was clean and updated and any issue we had Frank was quick to communicate and remedy the situation. The location of High Pointe is the best and our kids absolutely loved the large pool and easy beach access. We will definitely be back!

Location of this property is great! Having a private beach with chairs set up every day was nice. AC worked well which is necessary in the FL humidity. Loved the view from the balcony. Property manager was good at communicating regarding maintenance that needed to be performed while we were there. We enjoyed our week despite the rain. Sadly we didn’t get to eat at the restaurant on property due to the weather and it being closed. We didn’t notice any games which is always nice for those rainy beach days, but a quick run to Target for cards was easy. We did reduce cleanliness by a star for a few reasons. We’d give it a 4.5 rating. There were stained pillow cases and while the property manager was quick to respond, unfortunately some of the replacements also had stains. The other 2 concerns we didn’t bring to the property manager’s attention so they didn’t have a chance to address them, but the dishwasher is in desperate need of an internal scrubbing and the primary shower needs to have the caulking pulled and replaced due to mildew/mold. This must be an endless battle with a rental, but the problem stems from the corner ledges of the tub not draining properly so the water just pools and sits. None of this would prevent us from staying here again. We have high standards and wanted to provide honest feedback. Much thanks to Frank & James for sharing their property with us! My kids want me to tell you they slept well in the bunk beds!

You can walk or ride a bike everywhere. The area is so beautiful and friendly. The view is spectacular! The condo was great and the owner was great to work with. Just fantastic!!!! God willing, we will stay there again. We have stayed many places on 30 A This is the best by far.

We’ve been visiting High Pointe for at least 10 years and it never disappoints. The views from this unit are amazing. The unit is perfectly appointed and had everything we needed. The property grounds are really well kept…everything was clean especially on such a busy week. Crabby Steve’s was amazing as usual (best crab cakes by far!!). We will 100% stay in this unit again.

We had no idea how close it is to all of the restaurants and music in Rosemary Beach, but we could not have asked for a better location.
