The location was very handy and I chose a hotel for the convenience of having staff that could assist with ordering taxis etc given that I don't speak Japanese which was very useful.
The room that I was assigned had a very bad smell. Whilst it was resolved quickly by transferring me to another room, the new room was very small though which made luggage storage more difficult. The staff provided great service though and helped me move my heavy luggage right away.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at on my trip,,5 minutes from train station,,and close to everything you need,,the perfect location..also all amenities in hotel were on your doorstep [literally]

As required for a weekend solo getaway
Staff had no clue how to check me in as i booked through booking.com
I thought APA Hotel (a big chain in Japan) and booking.com (a supposingly large global accomodation travel agent) were tight. I expected too much of a normal/ordinary assumption i guess?
