We had a really good stay overall and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The view was absolutely gorgeous and was definitely one of the highlight of the trip. The host was responsive and helpful whenever we had questions, which made everything easy and stress-free.A few points for future guests, and the host consideration: the additional charge for linens only came to her attention the day before our arrival, so it’d be helpful if this were more clearly noted in the listing so guest can plan accordingly.The BBQ was also difficult to use and could benefit from some maintenance along with A few basic supplies, such as salt and a functioning BBQ lighter.The floors could’ve been cleaned more thoroughly prior to our arrival.It is also worth noting for future guests that the cottage is quite close to a main road, resulting in a fairly consistent amount of passing traffic noise, and the neighbouring properties are closer than the listing photos might suggest. As a result the setting felt somewhat less private than we had expected. Overall, these were relatively minor issues in the context of and otherwise very enjoyable stay. The beautiful views and response post made for a great trip, and we would consider saying again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location by the lake is stunning and it was so quiet and peaceful. We loved canoeing around the lake and lounging in the hot tub on cooler evenings. There are plenty of attractions and facilities within 45 minutes drive. There were some frosty nights but the cabin was toasty warm.

We enjoyed our stay. It’s a very comfortable cottage.
We would have enjoyed the outside more but unfortunately the people staying next door had two large dogs that they seemed incapable of leashing or keeping on their property.
